  1. This seems like an elegant solution. Very nifty indeed!
  2. That price is fantastic, even if there are shipping charges. Make sure there's nothing wrong with it, then... Do it. You'll always think back on her if you don't...
  3. Thanks! Sorry for the delay. Just got back from a 1,475 mile, six-day camping trip through New England on it. Did 475 miles today from Bar Harbor to home. Didn't skip a beat the whole week. Lovely, lovely bike. Sounds great! More pics???
  4. Any updates, Motowarren? I'm looking at either an 8963 Penske, or possibly having Racetech redo the Sachs. Very curious to see how your Racetech re-do turns out. Thx.
  5. GB, keep us posted. I am looking forward to a Guzzi cafe project and threads like this re-inspire!
  6. I remember we used to have a threaded "piston stop" (anodized alloy--very nicely made) for our RC race trucks--do they make something similar for "real" vehicles? And I use a number 2 pencil when doing the valves on my airhead BMW's--I supposed that should work fine for the Guzzi as well...
  7. Nice "traveled" Eldo, that's for sure! I really dig Beckam's Confederate, too. Good stuff!
  8. Sounds like you have it under control--and what a beautiful bike!
  9. Mille, I had to bump this. This is my dream Guzzi!!!! Keep us updated with more pics, etc.
  10. Wow, very sorry to hear that this was confirmed. I was following another post of his. Godspeed, Slavo.
  11. Rhino1 See http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17510 if you are interested.. Ended up going this route myself - not fitted yet though Regards Thanks!!
  12. Yes, that's the one. And although I'm not getting the stand, that's an LP stand with the standard "pads" for the swing arm. Thanks for the tips/advice--I'll definitely look up the '02 Le Mans issues posts for more in depth stuff.
  13. Bob, if no one has beat me to it, I'd be interested in the tail tidy...
  14. Hi all. I'm waiting on the delivery of an '03 V11 Naked Sport that I am buying. Doing a bit of research, it looks like I might have an '02 titled as an '03 (no crossover in front, pad on the tank, Veglia gauges, etc). Apart from the paint on the engine, are there other things I need to be wary of? It has just over 10k miles and has been meticulously maintained. Upgrades include a Misrtral exhaust, crossover pipe, PCIII, and proper bars in place of the clip ons. I'm very excited about this goose. I had an '07 Griso a couple years ago, but was not happy with the slop in the dive train. The '04 cafe sport I rode a few months ago displayed very little lash, so I'm hoping this '03 is similar. I'm currently in Southern California.
