I got to ride an RC8. Very acceptable riding position. Strong midrange. I wish I could've opened up. The KTM guys said they could still be ordered.

I plan to again. Have done it for the last few years. usually in Sept - Oct.

Stew- I think I just overfilled the gearbox. I've never filled it on a center stand (don't have one) and just roughly measured it. I think (hope) it's shed enough fluid where the pressure is down and won't leak out. But who knows?

thnx Docc. Just got her a few weeks ago. A real cream puff. A deal just too good to pass up. Had her on the road course a couple of times, that throttle will get away from ya and take you right around.

My wife drives a '14 Accord EX Sedan stick. We also have a '99 Trooper and '04 Duramax that I pull my Travel Trailer Toy Hauler. I am trying to sell my Camaro. This is my new ride. 49k miles, stick and 430 hp.

Looks like a Guzzi meet up in Huntsville Ark at the Withrow Springs State park this weekend. http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=81997.0 I am on the fence but if I go I'll stay in the motel (don't feel like camping). It's 300 mile trip for me. In fact Dusty (Cedar Vale fame) is putting this weekend campout together. I'm usually at Cedar Vale, we also do a meet up in Springfield (MO) to ride the Springfield (IL) Mile. I've done the Undercliff at Tipton Ford too but it's a long ways for a lunch ride. I usually make a trip or two to the Ozarks every year. I'd like to ride your 100 mile loop. Perhaps I'll see you soon? Saw that. Going to get the V11 safety inspected tomorrow and head down that way to say hello. Looking forward to meeting you at CV. I'll be the sissy looking for lodging thereabouts..... Saw you made it there. Well, maybe next time for me?

Leroy, You're in Neosho? I am not sure if we've met. Do you ride with Guzzi John, Dusty or Rocker on Wild Guzzi? I am usually heading to Ozarks a couple of times a year. Probably will go to the RAT Raid in Jasper Ark in April. Perhaps we can catch a ride together and you can show me some new roads? John L

Yeah, I was at the Indy Mile when Kenny did 4 demo laps on that thing. That was during the 2nd MotoGP weekend at Indy.

Were having Flat Track on the Mile at Remington Downs in OKC, Saturday June 18th. You might've seen my post on Wild Guzzi. If not, I am putting together a campout and cookout at Lake Arcadia about 15 minute ride north of the track. If you never seen a Mile Flat Track, I can tell you it's the most exciting racing there is. Compare it to anything, Indy Cars, Moto GP, NASCAR, it's really exciting. If you're interested, let me know or keep up with this space or WG.

I wouldn't mind having the RC8. It's very comfortable, perhaps more so than my Sport. And man, it's a Superbike with some real midrange.

when mine is vertical, it definitely shows full. I might dump it and remeasure in a marked cup. I've just been eyeballing it out of the site line on the side of the bottle.

my dream bike would be my Greenie done up with a Mike Rich engine and Guzzitech Suspension.

Oh the tranny has a site glass not an overflow plug. Gees forgot that. Anyway it's full when upright vs on the sidestand. I am guessing that it might be pretty easy to overfill it.
