  1. You can get Molly from Harper's. IIRC, It should be enough product for 2 or 3 services.

I bet they're in great condition, colours would probably go very nicely with a Tenni... Would that much trimmer lad be about 5'10", a lean 170lb? You looking for a date or making a bid on my leathers? Docc's modeling for those 50 voyeurs on this site.
  3. ooh man, walk away. You can see how much problems these bikes are.
  4. You're a regular Bono there Docc.
  5. I guess there is nothing special regarding Greenies' VIN or the numbers of them that were built? Other than being the best looking motorcycle of all time, there is no reason to make note here. move along, there is nothing to see here, move along.
  6. Phil, you're saying this kit will prevent breakage of the pawl spring? And that Guzzi installed them on models from '03 and later? I thought the later bikes were the ones most vulnerable to this (like the Corsa Nero)?

  8. I've got one direct to the battery needed for the Slime Pump. I only have used to pump up a leaky tire. The only reason I installed although I could use it for other things I suppose.
  9. Pete, I certainly hope that you sent those rogues an e-mail calling their treachery to account along with the URL posts for this listing as well as on WG.
  10. I am not sure there's anything to sort out. When I first noted a small drip, someone here said it was overfilled and needed to puke out the breather. "Guzzis find their own oil level." So the drips went away. Then someone gets anal how I read the dipstick. So, I add a half a pint of oil, and not surprising, it pukes out some drips (so see above). Shall we repeat?
  11. it only "leaks" when it's been "filled"
  12. hmmm. Springfield Mile is Labor Day. Two Rallies in two weekends? Dunno.
  13. Dunno Docc. It's right under the the swingarm pivot area just inboard and back from the sidestand. Not sure where it's actually dripping inside the frame. It's dripping after I filled the sump an extra half pint based to the chatter from this thread. It was dripping before until the oil level came down. I've ridden the bike 3 or 4 times since I topped it back up and have a half dozen quarter sized spots now. All of it pretty much like I expected. But I wanted to follow the recommendations here just to be sure what I said before was true.
  14. two more drips on the floor after yesterday's ride
  15. and three more spots today after riding it yesterday. I am guessing it will continue puking until it finds the right level.
  16. Then we're all doomed.
  17. I suppose half a pint could be the difference. I've never gotten an oil light, so I've never really worried about it since it doesn't seem to burn oil. Yeah, I have a Roper plate. I just get some oil drips form the breather area until it finds level. I don't know how anyone can straddle the bike upright while pulling out the dipstick. And there really isn't much mentioned about it in the documentation. Should the oil be checked on the sidestand or upright? Does the dipstick need to be screwed in or just inserted to the top of the treads? Everyone seems to have an opinion.
  18. dunno. Last time I brought it up everyone said it was coming out of the breather because it was overfilled. I added half a pint based on the above back and forth and it did it again. Not very much. The Dipstick shows a little bit over the full mark (on the sidestand). It was never down below half way on the dipstick (measured on the sidestand).
  19. it's right between the swingarm and engine. Right at the breather tube
  20. OK, I've run half a tank of gas since topping the sump. This morning there was a couple of puke spots about as big as a couple of silver dollars. So whether it was overfilled or there is some kind of breather issues it's finding it's own level.
  21. You should have the tire remounted. The Michelin rear tire was mounted backwards on my Bandit. It didn't quite "feel right" when I was running around the Ozarks at the RAT Raid a couple of years ago. I noticed it when another bike I was riding with had the same tire and noticed my tread was pointed backwards vs his. Word got back to the shop owner who was also at the Rally (the Triumph dealer at the time). He came up to and said he'd give me a new tire when I got back to OKC. I didn't even ask him. He came to me and did what he said he'd do. The tire felt "Soft". Like it was more Cadillac that Corvette. Not really the best feel for mountain roads. Seems to have a better ride but not quite sharp handling. Maybe it was all in my head but I would bet the tire would've warn out quicker.
  22. Just for clear my paranoia, I did fill the bike to full (on the sidestand). It took half a pint to go from midway to full.....but of course it's not full since it was on the sidestand. I didn't get a chance to ride it because I was riding the EV and trying to figure out the hot start problem. I think it might be fuel because I have to grab the throttle to get it start,
