I've got the same rack on my Greenie. The HB JR bags alternate between the Sport and the EV whenever needed.

home heating oil rant
LowRyter replied to mikev's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
Basically a geology report to know that the house wouldn't sink because of coal mining, IIRC. I was getting a paid move from my job. They hired an outside firm to help with the sale and even buy my house. I found a buyer that beat their price but somehow, they're hooks in the process required the survey even though they were a 3rd party (non buyer). Luckily they didn't screw up the sale. I protested when they threw up this red flag in the middle of the sale that I'd made. Anyway, I signed the papers and they got their hooks into the deal. It's not like I sell a house everyday and never had a contractor "assist" with bait of them buying my house. -

Is fuel oil the same as diesel or a close relative? Diesel was $5 a month ago and $3.50 now. Perhaps I should load up the external tank on my truck? My house is natural gas and electric, everything gas is gas. That was the best cost and environmental solution when I built the place 30 years ago. Still the cheapest of conventional choices. I think 40% of electrical generation is from wind in my state, the rest from gas. There's a guy on WG that used to live in Kansas that converted his house to solar and thought it was great. Anyway, I read that diesel will continue to have a higher spread vs gasoline due to demand imbalance. There are only so many gallons of diesel that can come out a barrel of oil, if folks are using less gasoline, the spread will be higher. True or not? It's just what I read. But that's the scare regarding EVs...again, I'm not saying it's true. -
Red Frame V11 Sport in Bianco Polare

snow white? just a guess. One of the few colors that doesn't quite work. -
Might check the fuel pump. Not sure if it's #4. That's what what happened to the Greenie., it coughed before it died. Kept blowing fuses and blew the spare in a couple of miles. Looking at my bike, I think the diagram shows a 10A for the instruments (front to back)? That doesn't sound right. 4th coming the other way (back to front) is a 15A for the headlights. I have no idea why this is printing red.

I asked about internet radio a while back. I found a really good station in Oregon KJIV. K Jive. Plays a lot of variety that seems to flow here. A community non profit. Also listening the Aardvark recommended here. Tunein has Rockin Rhythm and Blues Radio. They also GDRADIO (Grateful Dead). So if you're into internet radio, please share. For sure check out K Jive.

I got my foxes fixes at Joel Levine. Docc, has a complete set-up from Speed Hut that's a near replica of the stock gauges with Guzzi eagles and everything. Just search here and you can probably find the link and order the exact same one.

I see it's been on Showtime for weeks. My son's Netflix will let me see the Glass Onion in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for asking. I was finally able to complete all my normal Gym work last Friday, I was able to follow up Monday and today. My heartbeat still isn't where it should be but it's improving. But my strength and stamina are better -about 85%. I've been riding the Duc when the weather is nice. I couple weeks ago I was so weak I could barely lean it but I'm hitting the apexes now. Monday, I did my complete workout and did a couple hours on the Duc. I was worn out when I got home. I cooked on the grill and had scotch & cigar and perked right up. So thanks for asking and I'm getting better.

I like to keep of list of good BBQ when I travel or get the urge at home. Somebody should start a list. As folks try the recommendations, then edit the list or give *** STAR ratings. I've never tried the white sauce chicken BBQ in Alabama. Driven by the place on may way to Daytona or Barber but didn't eat there. Tried some BBQ downtown B'ham, not rendered or smoked, so no stars. I'm a BBQ snob for sure.

Oh my, Docc are we going to have to replace this stuff too?

Organ meat? Back when we were married you could find beef heart in the supermarket. It was cheap and she could really cook it. I'd like to try it again but we argue how she used to cook it. My memory is much more appetizing than hers. While we're at it, nothing like liverwurst on a sandwich or some fried chicken gizzards.

By comparison, Menudo is pretty good. Actually, the time I had it, it was OK, actually good.

add scrapple to something that I don't what it is. along with curds and poutine....I wouldn't know this stuff if I saw it, don't know what's in it, muchless what it tastes like. I'm not sure if you're making these out as regional delicacies or something to avoid. I'm guessing the latter.

Notice the Leather Saddle Bags on Chuck's bike. That's where he keeps his pipes. I have no idea what he's smokin'. -

Chuck posted a photo of his bike on WG. It's a stylish thing. I think Chuck probably wears tweed now and smokes a pipe when he rides. -
I've never had poutine. Not sure what it is. Never had cheese curds either and don't know what it is either. I did get some local Guadalajaran Mexican food for lunch. The blue collar crowd was having a late lunch to watch Mex vs Saudi world Cup. I read Mexico won but still lost. The food is outstanding and the sauces and pickled stuff are quite spicy. The steak enchiladas with creme fraiche (not cheese) are to die for. Someone was eating a fish that was as big as baseball mitt, I'll have to get myself more acquainted to the menu.

the bike should rip pretty good. Not an overpowered machine but good "real world" power. -
@80CX100They asked me about bitcoin when I was on the phone with them today, despite that there was nothing on my account about it. BTW- I don't consider crypto real money and would never buy any of it. Last week Fidelity sent my wife a letter regarding her IRA and demanded to know if it was an abandoned account. That took another hour of our lives to get resolved. I suppose there are vultures trying to get everything. We put everything in trust a few years ago.
