You know I was using the other specs, 004 and 006. Today I am putting plugs in my Corvette. The plugs were pregapped to .040 and my feeler gauges couldn't enter the gap, not even .035. I had a sparkplug gap tool and sure enough .040 measured on it. If the rest of my feeler gauge is as bad as that, I might be gapping .006/.008. Heck maybe .010+ ?

Looks a little chilly to go riding.
-
Why? Because they keep getting away with it, hence protests. You might say failure of the police to police themselves.

Two Guzzi affiliated rider boards, one on the left and the other on the right. Too extreme and soulless for me. Since it's been years, I suppose the current participants can provide a much more accurate view than mine.

I left the Cheese and illuminati a long time ago. I can read still read & watch the media and make my own decisions and judgments. <deleted the rest of it>

The triple clamp is a little further on the black frame.

They look delicious. Can't wait for next time. It might be a while....considering the virus and such.....maybe in a few years..

I don't know anyone more normal than you. Really. Sorry we didn't toss daggers. We'd had a blast. You're a really normal guy.
-
Docc, you were a great host, I had a great time going to the Spineframe Raid. Your "interest" in savage weaponry, I am sure is quite normal, friend. Buddy. Very normal. You're a normal guy.

If I'd known this was going on, I would've never spent the night at your place.

novel idea to use pull rope to charge a battery.
-
Just mowed today. Ratchet is slipping about half way in the travel. I hope I can make it through the summer. Not sure I am ready for a battery mower yet. I might get hammered.

I'd have to give them a pounding.

All my bikes are red, even my green one.

The best component on any Guzzi is V11 Sport candy apple green paint.

You can be on TDC on the compression stroke or TDC on the exhaust stroke. For the later, the valves will be open, the former has them closed. Typically, if you can't get a feeller cage in, it means you're on the exhaust stroke and need to take another 360 degree turn. If you still don't have gap, that sound like a problem. One hint I use, I mark the fin on the alternator with a marker at 12 o'clock on the right side TDC. One full turn and past to 3 o'clock will be the left side TDC. I always check it with the timing marks but it's much easier to do that when watching the marked fin.

I remember when they were $109 but that was back in the '80s.

A couple of nice bass boats there too. Pretty Rosso for sure.

Speaking of hammers. I used my orange plastic Harbor Fright mallet for the first time. I was mowing the lawn. I tried restarting the mower after gassing it up and pulled the starter cord and the ratchet mechanism pulled out. So I pulled the cord, then smacked the mower with the mallet and the cord engaged, the mower started and the ratchet still works. The timing of the pull and smack was key. $209 Ace Hardware price tag still on it after 4 seasons.

The deal on Ben Harper, I'd never heard of the guy. My wife is a retired English teacher and a student gave her a mix CD(20 years ago?) . It's just great. The CD had "Mama's Girl Friend" and "Rodney King". It was all roots/folks. Later I'd seen his rock and blues stuff. I was just talking to my wife today and said that I can categorize his music in two words. She said what is it? I said, "Ben Harper". I need to get his blues and rock stuff. What a great human being and great musician.

That's how I've done it. I prime the jar with new brake fluid since I don't keep old stuff around.
-
Changing brake fluid is overrated. At least wait until it's dirty. Hey, if you're taking your Spiney to the Isle of Man, don't take a chance. Otherwise, it's nice to do when you change pads, maybe every other time or third time. I am the least mechanically inclined person on the board but I might not be wrong.
