  2. this is the view looking at the right side and behind the tranny ...you can see the speedometer drive
  3. I already mentioned the transmission bracket and sloppage plate on WG. Also gave you the website for the tranny bracket. Make sure both accomplished, so that you won't fry the engine nor crack the tranny case. I've only done the latter.

  5. All V11 Sports and Lemans are beautiful, even the ones sold new in primer. Greenies are the prettiest, no doubt fastest. This Rosso is a pretty bike with lots of stuff with it, even though it's no Greenie.
  6. the plugs on the Stop and Go kit comes with no cement or tubes. The plugs are gummy.
  7. The California wheels are different widths and diameter than the V11.

  9. I need advil after reading this.
  10. My Cali runs a little hot the left side. Just because. Sometimes you'll notice it on some Guzzis. No particular reason, although left side works hard than the right cylinder.
  11. Think I'll have some wine this evening too, I am heading to a favorite Italian haunt for Carbonara.
  12. OK, I am going to the moderator......looking for a 6 months ban.........
  13. Shiraz? That's my wine. Official wine of Greenie owners. Do you drink PBR? (Just don't say oil can Fosters)
  14. She'll burn you alive and feed what's left to the dragon. BEND THE KNEE !!!!!!!!!!!!! She's way to HOTTTT for a Guzzi guy.
  15. I didn't catch the year of the bike, so I can't tell if this a red frame bike or if the frame was painted orange with the rest of the bike. Owning a greenie, the color stunning in person. I think it's one of the prettiest bikes ever. If you go that route, I would make sure the frame was painted red. OTOH, if you go to one of the simpler colors, like black or silver, I probably wouldn't worry about the frame and the body colors would be easier to match and paint. I suppose the tricolor would be the most challenging and then you'll want to paint the frame black. Anyway, you can't go wrong if it's what you want.
  16. It's usually the case that once an aircraft has been overhauled in the depot, that is takes a shakedown to be returned to user and then gets fitted for return to service.
  17. Yep, I put on some bar risers on another bike and an hour's ride was enough for me. It was already 93 before noon when I got home and now it's 98.
  18. tell us how it rides now
  19. I am afraid I am going down the rabbit hole into Dead-nation now. Perhaps it's an obsession or just a window into the past, both cultural and personal. Most of the Dead Shows have been archived and many have been packaged into CDs and downloads by the keepers of the vault. So as I fished around, I found D ick's Pick, Vol 19. D ick Latvala was a Dead recording archivist who put out 36 CD sets. Vol 19 was the very first Grateful Dead show that I attended back in 1973. The only vivid memory I had was some drunk Okie yelling "Truckin'" throughout the show. Of course they never played it. After hearing it, some of the memories have come back, the country sound, Bill was the single drummer and really rocks when he plays alone, the Godchauxs' and many more but songs and fewer jams, and Jerry. It's the beginning of the "wall of sound" and the recording is surprisingly good for the time. So here is a link https://archive.org/details/gd73-10-19.sbd.nayfield.187.sbeok.shnf There are several other shows I'd like to get, some are only available with a few songs in larger sets. Some might be poor recordings that were never released unless bootlegged. In fact there are so many authorized commercial Grateful Dead recordings on the markets, most 2- 3 hours long, that members of the band have not listened to them all. Fish around, you might find your own memories here.
  20. Makes sure the tps hasn't come unplugged.
  21. Probably the filter. If it were an EV, I would guess the pan gasket was on backwards.
  22. One of the guys on WG was able to get a vid of Sugaree (first set, before John changed shirts in my photos)
