I have some Rizoma fluid tanks and mirrors, very nice bits.
-
Thanks for the short review. Haven't been on any of those bikes but the little Duc is pretty tempting.
-
Prices here seem to be a more reasonable. There are quite a few V11 on this side of the globe and they are not high demand or fashionable bikes. Seven large seems like a good price for a rarity such as the Nero. Hopefully the new owner shows up here.

This one went for 7k What does everyone thing about the price? Good deal? Anyone on here the purchaser? If so congrats, looks lovely

Congrats, that was quick! -
Wow! I have never seen this bike, very cool indeed.

This will be my next "new" bike in a couple of years when the used prices are half of what they cost new. I rode one and my mate has one..very good bike, engine is a peach , handling superb and ATD is up there. Prices won't drop to 50% for a long long time as they are in such high demand. A 3yr old bike with average mileage will still be 70-75% I would say. Very small bikes too, not like the V11. Good to know, as soon as they drop to around 8-9k I will be a player. Hopefully that might happen when they are around 3-4 years old. Haven't been too keen on the older series as they supposedly don't handle all that well. I have never ridden one personally though.

I spoke with the owner Bob, he sent some pics and the bike was in very nice condition. Seemed like he will miss it.
-
Where was 272 for sale (ebay, craigslis)? I completely missed it.
-
Sorry for the late reply, it is missing on this bike. thanks for asking though

I talked to the dealer about the Scura almost two weeks ago, they don't have much on it. They also tried to tell the bike was perfect and had never been on its side which it most likely had been with the broken pedal and the scrape on the rocker cover guard. They didn't seem too interested in making a deal and tried to tack on an additional $750 in dealer fees such as a $300 "safety check" The Ti exhaust was tempting, but if you look closely at the pics it looks like a lot of fasteners and even the gauge rings have a lot of corrosion. Carbon fiber is very faded as well. They also refused to send any high resolution pics. I would say proceed with caution on this one.

Thanks for sharing your pics and experience. That looks like a great ride!!

Greenie for sale: https://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/d/moto-guzzi-v11-sport/6315920299.html

When I first got my 2000 sport, I did about 2k miles of commuting on it and with the narrow rear and sticky compound tires the rear tire (not sure how old it was to begin with) was pretty square. Talk about dropping in fast and uncomfortable, again (see above), it is something worth checking.

This one is a pretty good deal: https://southcoast.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2004-moto-guzzi-v11/6322335249.html 2004 Sport, Ti exhaust. Best part is, only 3400 miles and sounds like original owner.

Hi All, I just posted a Greenie for part out in the classifieds. Hit me up if you are looking for any parts! -Nick

Hi Guys and ladies! Been riding this for 5 years, it was laid down before I bought and fixed on the cheap. So, it is time to disassemble and pass on the good parts. There are a lot of them, just a few items with scrapes: Pipes, rear seat area left side valve cover and the clip-on, the chrome ring is scraped but bucket is good. The rest of the bike is good and runs great. It was always garage kept and has around 13k miles on it. The old gauges didn't make it in the crash, I had a custom gauge mount made an installed a modern Koso gauge to the bike. I am undecided if I till sell it, makes offers if you are interested. Not selling: hyperpro stabilizer, tail tidy, Stucchi crossover. The rear pillion cover is brand new! Only been in the sun 2 times, I bought it sealed in original packaging from an ebay seller in the UK. It is cherry if anyone is looking for one. Also have the original, it has a scrape and a crack in it. Mistral silencers are for sale, they have scraps on the ends, both silencers. Maybe they can be refurb'd? I did check with Mistral and the rivet strapping is for sale. Oh, one more thing, the wheels are in excellent shape...aaand...have Pirelli Diablo Corso's on them with maybe 300 miles. Selling them with tires mounted, the rotors will be included and they are the "better" later gen and have plenty of life left. Everything is up for grabs, bike runs great and I have a video of it running. Feel free to make offers everyone, I will leave this up for a month before parts start to hit fleabay. Link to a couple of dozen pics: http://www.mediafire.com/?8u3ux4lxd3omo Safe riding! Nick 415-430-5468

Thanks for response Scud! I am definitely going to part it out and it has been great fun riding it the past 5 years. I might have a use for the clutch assembly, please see the PM is just sent you:)

It was low-sided before I purchased it and has a salvage title. The owner fixed it on the cheap, and some parts are still damaged, definitely not perfect. I dont think anyone would want to purchase it and ride it as it is. I have had it for 5 years now, time to part it out. Runs great though and only has around 12k on it. Will post pics tomorrow or Monday.
-
Thanks guys! Will post some pics up this weekend and let everyone feast before Ebay gets the rest. The rear pillion cover brand new, only seen light 2 times. Saving a few parts for the bin as well. But not much
-
Although, as soon as a Cafe Sport comes around, that one will join the garage as well.
-
Yeah, this one has the white face gauges too. None of it matters to me in the least, looking forward to a new clean V11. PICS WILL BE COMING!!!
-
I see, I have read that there are some weird builds around this time. The owner opted to have the cases replaced under recall so it will come without flaking paint. I don't think I would have bought it otherwise.
-
I am in the process of buying a 2003 Sport, the VIN indicates a KR frame, a 3 for the model year and the bike has a chin pad. Strange combo.

Thanks for the likes guys. I have a greenie that I will be parting out if anyone is interested in parts.
