what's this crazy talk?? Paint does not make a Tenni. Haha... in addition to paint, it needs: A number plate on the top triple clamp Two seats (exclusive brown suede and standard black) A lightweight aluminum flywheel, with single-plate clutch Some unobtainable paperwork or certificate from Moto Guzzi The rest is the same as a 2002 LeMans - or did I miss something? Too bad MG didn't put Ohlins on the Tennis. Is there anyway to verify it's a Tenni by the serial number? I think the Marzocchi 40 mm front forks and White Power rear shock are also exclusive to the Tenni. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've posted on here in the past that I've been dealer with an ongoing and intermittent starter issue with my Tenni. So far I've tried removing the starter and having it checked, running a solid ground, and cleaning all the contacts. Nothing seemed to work until today. In Guzziology, on page 17-18, Dave talks about some relay issues and a way to start a dead bike. He said to turn the key on, ignition switch off, press the starter, then turn on the ignition. This worked! Do any of you have any idea what this means? He also mention swapping the two front relays. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The meter is grounded to one of the bolts that holds the starter in place. And yes, when I press the starter button I hear the loud clunk of the solenoid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So if there's 12v going to the solenoid it should start right? When the starter button is not pressed the meter shows no voltage at the same point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's got to be the starter solenoid. I put it back together and it fired right up. Twice. The third time it clicks once and nothing else. When the starter is pushed there is indeed 12v going to the spade connector at the solenoid. I checked it. There is also 12v going to the main starter connection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup. The fuel pump does its thing. I've tried cycling the clutch lever while thumbing the starter button with no luck. I'm off work tomorrow so I'll re-install the starter and run the test Docc recommended Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay Docc. I'll give that a shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Starter appears to be working perfectly fine. Even had a shop inspect it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll try that. The starters is out of the bike right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If I put the bike in gear and roll it a few feet it will start. This problem kept getting worse until now it won't start at all. A few people have tried to explain it as a "dead spot" in the starter. Any ideas? I pulled the starter today. Replace? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay, if it's alright with you guys and while we're still on the topic of starters here is my issue. First let me say that all connections are tight, I have a new battery, and there is no corrosion anywhere. The issue is is that when I go start sometimes it will fire right up and other times nothing. No clicking. Nothing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What about this? http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=36793.msg553740#msg553740

Mine started doing the exact same thing until it finally failed to start altogether. Any suggestions on a replacement starter? Valeo or Bosch?

Does anyone know (or have used) if the Cortech Dryver series tank bags will work on the V11 Lemans? The web site only lists rings for the major jap bikes and BMW. Just wondering if there is any cross over and if it will clear the tank pad. I have a Cortech Tri-Bag that I no longer use and was going to order a strap mount for that to see if it will work as well.

I know this is an old thread... but will the EVO ring work with the tank pad on the Tenni?

It appears that 133 is for sale, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Moto-Guzzi-V11-Lemans-TENNI-Edition-2002-V11-Lemans-TENNI-Edition-Mint-Rare-only-170-made-/321058875687?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item4ac099a927#v4-39
