  1. My top 5: - V11 Le Mans Nero Corsa (surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet, with the Ohlins and lightened flywheel) - Daytona RS (4 valves!) - Mk 1 Le Mans - V7 Sport (original) - V7 750 Ambassador (I mean, the gas tank alone...)
  2. Now that the V11 is 25 years old, I would love to know where it stands in the transverse V-twin Guzzi model ranking of post 1965. I realize there is no scientific way to determine this, but even with all the lovely models since 2000, none of them have tempted me to part with mine. After selling my first V11 Scura, I bought a V11 Le Mans a few years later, and still love it. But by all means - those of you with a good knowledge of post '65 Guzzi road bikes, what is your top 5 ranking? (because this is the type of shite we do to pass the cold off-riding season days).
  3. Thank you p6x for your sage advice! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
  4. If I didn't love my V11 so much, it would be easy.
  5. Impressive description of work done and looks to be in great condition. Please talk me out of selling my 03 V11 Le Mans and kicking in the difference to buy this beauty! https://www.facebook.com/share/18HADMX3zG/
  6. For your alternator cover, I bought one of these carbon fiber versions, which appear to be on sale for $75 right now: https://mdicarbonfiber.com/products/ducati-moto_guzzi_1100_sport-alternator-cover
  7. Sanders ran an incredibly consistant race from beginning to end, and certainly deserved the win! Too bad this might be the last positive bit of news for KTM for a long time.
  8. I loved the straight-cut gear whine of my VFRs - these would be a perfect winter project for someone with the wherewithal to install them.
  9. Hmmm, went over to wildgoose.com and didn't see anything in their Classified For Sale section. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place?
  10. If you haven't already tried it, I highly recommend trying Seal-Mate before anything else on your leaking fork seal - best $7 I've ever spent. Turns out most leaks are caused by grit getting between your fork and seal. This little tool removes the grit in 5 minutes without scratching your fork. Its important to watch the video. It took care of my last 3 leaking fork seals on 3 different bikes: https://sealmate.net/
  11. Finally completed the break-in mileage on my '03 Le Mans [emoji16] Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
  12. This is 100% true!
  13. Unfortunately, I could not. And it was blocked by that table.
  14. Not really sure where to post this, but last night on a trip to Paris with my wife, I stumble upon this beauty in an antique store window (called Lila's Antiquities). Seems to be all aluminum Guzzi - not sure what the donor model is. Went back today to arrange for shipping ([emoji16]), but they are closed til Wednesday. Leaving Paris tomorrow, but will be emailing them soon. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
