  1. They do all tank types, are also a full service body shop. They can do priming and paint too. If you live nearby, you'll save on shipping for sure.
  2. This thread made me reconsider doing it myself using Caswells: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16928&hl=caswell%26%2339%3Bs The cost of doing it by GTL Advantage was not cheap by any means, I think it was around $400 when it was all said and done, shipped back and forth to CA. Well worth it in my opinion, for something this important and that is guaranteed and should last the lifetime of the bike.
  3. Bravo, that looks fantastic.
  4. I wouldn't risk it. I've heard many horror stories about do it yourself products delaminating, which can (in a worst case scenario) ruin your engine. I did the same thing you did, ie upgraded my '01 to an in tank pump and filter setup, but I sent my tank to be professionally lined by these guys: http://www.gastanklining.com Not worth it to me personally to mess around with something as critical as this.
  5. Woodcraft make clipons with risers of all different heights. Or you can put a top clamp on from. california which will have rubber isolated mounts for standard handlebar clamps. That's the setup I have, with Renthal bars.
  6. loving it!

  11. I have the techspec pads, those are what you want. Haven't installed them on my new tank yet, but if you look back in my gallery you can see them.
  12. What's the life expenctancy on the Grimeca? Do rebuild kits exist for it?
  13. Any info on the Grimeca slave cylinder would be welcome too...
  14. Anyone know what the piston diameter is? Trying to figure out which Brembo part it is, the PS12 or the PS13. Thanks!
  15. Is that a Galfer wave rotor?
  16. Already have the front taken care of, when I swapped the entire front end for an 09 GSXR 750

    Marvic Piuma Rear Wheel

    Nine pounds lighter than stock!
  19. So... Here are the numbers and they are amazing. New wheel, with spline drive and captive spacer and rotor mount, no rotor -- 12.5 lbs / 5.7 kg Old wheel, with spline drive and spacer, no rotor -- 21.5 lbs / 9.75 kg !!!!!!!!

    Marvic Piuma Rear Wheel

Hi Scud. Yes the drive is cushioned, though not as much as the stock setup. It's the drive from the MGS01 which has five rubber cushions between the rim and the spline drive plate. And yeah, did this in order to drop two of the best kinds of weight to lose, those of the unsprung and rotating variety. Haven't had a chance to weigh anything yet, busy weekend, but tomorrow I will have numbers. Guesstimate is at least five pounds lighter. Also, looks really trick

better view of the spokes, showung the drive spline adaptor and captive spacer.
  23. It has five spokes instead of three, but the style matches well with the three spoked front wheel. (they also make a V11 specific front wheel if you want a matching set). I requested silver paint for my '01 Sport Naked silver and it matches beautifully. Paint quality is excellent, they have a few other colors to choose from. Marvic part number is GU04P. The wheel comes assembled and ready to install, with bearings, captive spacer, and includes a billet machined rotor carrier that fits our stock rear rotor, as well as the spline drive (which is from the MGS01 Corsa). Call/email Fred Renz at Yoyodyne, he has a direct relationship with the factory in Italy. He is super helpful and patient, if a little laconic in his communications. But very honest and fair.
