I don't think you're seeing my point. They are special. And not every V11 is the same. And if you think through my perspective All V11s are the same? Well, I guess all V11s are special. All hand built Italian bikes with all of them being slightly different. Touchè. Oh, by the way.. I personally thing Guzzi fudged their numbers and made waaaaaay more than 170 Tennis and a heck of a lot more than 600 Scuras. Like when I went to Marcus Dairy in CT and 2 guys had the same numbered Special Edition Ducati Sport Classic. And I love Tennis too. One of my bucket list bikes.

The Tenni is pretty special. But comparing it to a Scura is a stretch. The Tenni was a paint scheme, cool seat and some other little tidbit to tilt its hat to Guzzi's history. The Scura was last of the true "hotrod" Guzzis. Ohlins, racing explode-o-matc flywheel (hey, I can joke about it. I own one), carbon bits, etc. The Nero Corsa, Corsa Rossa, Cafe Sport, etc were mere upgrades like how Ducati goes from a Standard model to an S model.

That sound could be from being cones. Try another shape. My Mistrals on my Lemans sound pretty sweet. These are aluminum with carbon tips. They probably didn't cost much more than you cones. https://photos.app.goo.gl/VktjjeNfh9x2KZju6

IDK... Comparing Staintunes to Mistrals? Im not hating on Staintunes but for what they charge I'd rather Mistral. Better build. If you like Staintunes and you're in the states you can fit a pair of Two Bros universal fit or D&Ds for less and get the same sound and build quality. I have a pair of aluminum 2 Bros you can fit for super cheap if you doubt me. They just need better brackets around the footpegs.

Could it of been from them being cones? You running the stock crossover? Mine literally sounds like a beefier Duc.

I run M4 carbon on one V11 and Mistral aluminum on the other. Sometimes I hate to admit it after dumping money on my M4s and then modding them but the Mistrals just sound better. And even with putting the sound aside Mistral's build quality is just superior. I have another set that came on my Lemans when I bought it which are probably as old as the bike. Besides some surface scratches they are still super solid after 18 years and 20k+ miles. For any Guzzi it's Mistrals all the way.

I found this out the hard way when I bought an old Corbin seat and it wouldn't fit... So anyone who has a short frame and wants a Corbin for a killer price PM me..

I think that's kind of a myth when it comes to Scuras. I was told somewhere down the road mine had titanium rods or something. It didn't. Nonetheless that's a beautiful Scura and if I had the garage space I'd be trying to buy it. Best of all the miles are pretty low and by the looks not abused whatsoever. A little bit of surface stuff but it's understandable since it's 18 years old and in NorCal. I'd be all over this if I had the space.

I've wanted high pipes for my Scura since I bought it. Thanks to the guys at Guzzitech they made it happen.

I think this is dead. If they do decide to resurrect the Lemans it'll be an 850 with a bump in power like they did with the TT and it'll look a lot like the MKIV. I was one that was sad that they killed the CARC. I will own a Griso one day.

SOLD - 2003 Moto Guzzi V11 LeMans - San Francisco area

You probably have the prettiest Mandello on the west coast. If I had the space in the garage.... -
Wow, that's pretty rude....π€£

Sorry, Man. Had to snatch it. V11 carbon is almost unobtainium. It's going on the Scura. If I don't like the weave I'll PM you first dibs.
-
I almost busted mine off once with it being close to the headlight fairing bracketry on the Scura. I'll be ripping off my Veglia stuff once it starts to break and replacing with Speedhut. These gauges are a weak point on these bikes. Self lubricating plastic gears? C'mon!

Thanks. I just bought the last one. I have been looking for one of those for 3 years.

Try replacing all the rubber based fasteners. Chances are the ones on your Ballabio are as old as the bike and are needing replacement. The guy who had my Scura used zipties on the fairing because it probably buzzed. $6 at my local Ace Hardware for new wellnuts and it was good.

You'll be able to sell that Quad D here rather quickly. Folks here have asked about them periodically. Take the proceeds and buy some oval Mistrals.

Jaap won a MGS-01?

Talk to Bruno at Ghezzi-Brian. Maybe just maybe.. -
Thanks for posting a better link to the ebay listing. This guy is dreaming. Looks like a Scura with a repained tank, decals removed off the rear cowling and appears to be an aftermarket rear mudguard. Cute how he still lefted the foam ring on the headlight instead of just painting the headlight ring. It is in good shape. Just not worth Β£10k. Maybe if he holds onto it for 5 more years....

That and also odometers break.. Some sit. To be honest I'd rather buy a v11 that's been ridden and cared for with miles than one with super low milage. Low mileage is a red flag.

Bluebook, no. Also depends on the region. CA for example values are higher. Same in NY, NJ, MD, etc. Best offhand stats is looking at Cycletrader or even Craigslist. GP Cycles in San Diego had a greenie with miles on it a while back listed in the low 5k area and got it. This was 1 google search without probing....Dreamers? Theses? They're get pretty close to that in these areas.. Vegas, SoCal... https://www.smartcycleguide.com/moto_guzzi-v11_le_mans-motorcycles-for-sale

Like anything Italian their value will plummet and the rise and keep rising. I notice the V11 on the up. 4 years ago an 02 LeMans could be had anywhere from $3500-$5000. Now that same bike is around $6000-$8000. But I swear some of these people out there are either misinformed or high... 4Corsa is pretty accurate.
