  1. My Mistrals did the exact thing. Throttle bodies balanced, proper mapping and even same exhaust pressure ( felt that by my hands). I think the packing burns up faster in one pipe . Eventually they'll be the same. I'm not that worried about it since everything is running tip top. Just need to find some new stickers. Sorry my post isn't that scientific.. ;-)
  2. Did Harper's ever sell out of these? Btw Scud: Much much better . :-)
  3. Mistral..
  4. Looks like a fluke in the VIN or what Power said. It's not a Nero Corsa for certain. I think those had Ohlins. Looks like yours could of started out as a Lemans or Ballabio. More Ballabio than anything. Could be an 04 Bitsa from the factory. Triumph was once notorious for that. I had an 06 Speedfour that the VIN said was a tt600 . Basically a final year bike built from the parts bin (one bike I wish I still had).
  5. No worries.. pm me some photos. I might be able to utilize it. That's if it's still available.
  6. I drive a Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio with a couple of performance upgrades.. 210hp... lol It's my commuter. When not commuting I use my CTX 300, the Yamaha R6 and the Guzzi. Soon 2 after I get the Scura back. 2 wheels are better than 4 in SoCal. The girl has a Subaru Forester .
  7. I just finally got to putting on some hardware that I ordered that had vibrated off or broke at one time . Now she is more complete. Still awaiting my Scura after 4 months.. Guess she needs a new clutch. But the prior owner won't give her to me until she is right . I respect that. I too have LEDs for Guzzitech on order. I have LEDs on my Honda. Best thing since sliced bread. All my bikes are getting the LED treatment.
  8. Guzzitech sells an adapter to use bar ends for the V11.. I used them to mount my CRGs. CRGS are great . Rizoma I think are a little better but either one's quality it top notch.
  9. Discontinued. C/L or e-bay now. The Mistral are still made and a bit better. The Stucchi ones were known to crack. Guzzitech also makes one close to the Stucchi design but better stainless.
  10. I had a snapped one also . It's actually damaged the arm and needed a new one (thankfully Scud had one). Didn't think this was as common as it is.
  11. This thread is hilarious. What time is it? Time to go into my garage with a glass of bourbon and spend time with the bikes.. ☺
  12. I got to ride the snot out of mine today. Took the back end of the Angelus Forest near Pear Blossum and Devils Punchbowl . Pretty sandy I noticed as I passed a bunch of skiers... Went up the back on Upper Tujunga Canyon noticing a downed rider with some CHP on the scene. Hit Newcolm's and then hit the rest of HWY2 across the Crest and back home. A low of a mere 46. Rear brake got hot and was progressively starting to fail on the downhill. Im going to check the fluid this week. Yes, I snatched the first 2 sets of 4 piston rear caliper setups from Guzzitech. It's basically a billet bracket with a 4 piston rear caliper off a Jackal with a bigger master cylinder. Todd at Guzzitech does a fantastic job on these.
  13. Doing the rear brake pads on the V11 is easy thankfully. These Brembos are pretty nice to work on. Small though. I am amazed how they threw on such a small caliper on a 550lbs bike. Can't wait to get my Scura with the 4 piston caliper from a V11 Jackal. Should of had a 4 piston from the start.
  14. I finally had my Ghezzi-Brian rear hugger installed. Tried it without a lift and chickened out pulling the rear shock bolt so I put it back and had a local shop do it. I know , I wussed out.. It does look great though. It is a total pain to pop on but when installed looks awesome. It opens up the rear end and exposes that beautiful trellis swing arm. It's crazy that Guzzi covered it with that huge plastic fender.
  15. Scud, I think I now need a GPS like yours. Thats some cool stuff.
  16. Any set meeting point and time I can jot down on the gps?
  17. Get a good gel battery . I replaced mine with a Yuasa.. Battery light goes on after 2 weeks of no usage yet my charging system is tip top.. Blah battery..
  18. Have yourselves a V11 Christmas.
  19. I almost bought this bike but I decided on a well sorted Scura. Great to see it found a home from someone on this board.
  20. http://www.ghezzi-brian.com/en/tuning-moto/tuning-moto-guzzi/v11-1100-sport-daytona-centauro/belly-pan/ What you pay for your G&B bellypan, Scud?
  21. I was eyeballing that bike too. He has a set of Ferraccis for sale too.. Wants $500 for them...lol Its a clean Cafe Sport though.
  22. With the Corbin you can't use the cowl. What they can do is match the leather to the color of your bike. I went through this last year. i wanted a new seat but also wanted the cowl.. What I did is took my seat to an upholsterer. Here Shaped the foam and redid the seat in black alcantera. Looks superb . Best part is it's better than the Corbin for 1/3 the cost. The Corbin is great but from sound from what you want you might want to look into a rebuild of that seat.
  23. Been riding my Lemans 2 years now and wanted to have my suspension set up properly. Made an appointment at Racetech to have a shock rebuilt and the front "adjusted"... Here is the truth about Racetech: YES- They can rebuilt all of your rear shock. Spring, internals, valves. The whole schpeel.. YES- They can place gold valves in the front. Read a few threads here that said they couldn't. Not so.. Had a shock rebuilt . Everything. Went to get my suspension adjusted to discover my front springs were shot making my front end harsh. Truthfully it was bottomed out since I owned it and never knew. Thought it was the way the bike handled ( which wasnt bad really) . After getting the bike back with the suspension "situated"? When folks say a bike with set up suspension is a whole new bike they are not lying. Completely different animal.. German and Italian suspension reworked by sun loving Californians . Good stuff. More to the review after I get some miles on it..
  24. No one?
  25. Ive been wanting to run high pipes for a while now but can't find anyone who owns any yet alone photos. Anyone here running high mount pipes? I know MG Cycles has them available but he doesn't have any photos of them mounted to a bike. Been googling and Im only finding custom jobs. I was interested in the Mistrals in particular but any brand still making them is great in my book.
