  1. Quick ride on Rim Of The World hwy18 in SoCal.
  2. Which V11 you put them on?
  3. As silly as it may seem but a sheepskin draped on a seat for the long haul works!!!! I did it once wih a cheap Ikea one . I can imagine how much better with a quality one. May look silly but a skin will save your a$$.. ;-)
  4. I consider the Japan Scura one of the prettiest modern Guzzis out there. Lots of small really really nice touches is what does it. The valve covers, the studs on the wheels, the flow of the screen, etc. It was done carefully and properly.
  5. Oh, thank you for this thread... I've been looking to replace the headlight in my LeMans for 2 years.. The inner bucket on mine is just thrashed from the California sun. The LED project begins.
  6. After seeing your Scura I can concur that you are one lucky man.. ;-)
  7. I have a Street Triple R. Certainly couldn't call it boring.... Best handling motorcyle I've ever owned. Very refined. Nothing like a Guzzi. It's great contrast to my Lemans. Only issues with it is that it's tough to work on.
  8. Definitely would.
  9. IS THAT WHAT THOSE PLATES SAID?!! I have a set of those pipes that has the rivets still in but no plates. I guess many owners tore them off and I can see why now. I still wish they were still on though . In a weird way.
  10. Im just catching this. Im a bit of a gear whore. By the way, nice Bassman. My current amps are a Fender 63 Bassman, a Fender HotRod DeVille 212, a Club Classic 30, Vox NT-15 NightTrain and an Orange Crush 35 as a beater. " Cheaper than drugs and hookers" is what I tell the girlfriend. Here's some of my firewood. Guitars and motorcycles... Expensive hobbies...lol
  11. Tennis available ? Yes. Prestine Tennis very few and far between. I know of one in decent shape in CA. A rider. Not spectacular but appears to be pretty good. Check the c/l in San Diego . Should still be there. Ferracci pipes. No airbox. Headlight is meh . All fixable and solid .
  12. Same situation. Caught eyes on a v11 Tenni in 2003 and wanted a v11 since. Now on my second v11 after I sell the Triumph.
  13. Short list here: An 850 Mark I Lemans. A Tri-Ton with a 750 Tiger motor.. A T595 Daytona A MG Moto Guzzi 1000 Daytona. A Ducati 900ss FE A Suzuki Cooley GS1000 A Buell S-1 There are a few more but Im sure we can all come up with more.
  14. When I moved from New Jersey to California there was one certainty I picked up on: Great beer out here. These are some local breweries within a stone's throw of my place. As I'm sitting here drinking a glass of wine...
  15. Or Piaggio.. ;-)
  16. Here is mine. A v11 Scura soon to follow.
  17. Now that is the action of a true Guzzista..;-)
  18. Good to hear no one was injured. Sorry for your loss. All the fire means is you can buy anothe Goose. They're out there. Especially v11s. It's as if folks are selling to get the newer thing. I for one love the v11 despite the quirks and flaws( especially since the flaws are easily fixable). You might have to travel to get one but they are certainly out there.
  19. That's a nice kit.
  20. I would hope this would come to a reality..

  22. There are quite a few in the US. You'll see lots of V7s and the occasional Griso. Not many V11s. I'm 1 of like 4 I know of in the outer LA area. Most haven't a clue what a Lemans is here in Redlands, CA. At least they know they're Italian...
  23. I would just love a Tenni seat for my 2002. Sooooooo pretty.
  24. Rather fancy a Griso......
