Hold the phone! RedLine makes a motoroil suitable for the V11? I may reconsider using synth...

Just having a look at the registry and saw your post. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the board !!-belated- How did you come to part out 123? and was 130 previously on Craigslist in nola awhile back? I was chomping at the bit to buy it back then. Gots pictures? tell us more!

very nice work. I like the grey pork chops, and the dark tail. Viewing your bike in this light reminds me how stunning a line the Sport/LM has. Against the awesome mufflers, the seat and tail really pack a visual punch. The bike is well suited to the vintage fairing.

I don't know about those, but the MPH riser kit I ordered last May finally came in. They called me about a month ago. The parts guy has been replaced. When I got mine, they had 30 sets. $399. with longer Spiegler s/s brake and clutch lines. Pricey, but does the job. http://mphcycles.com/handle-bar-risers/

''The rest is the same as a 2002 LeMans - or did I miss something? Too bad MG didn't put Ohlins on the Tennis.'' + A titanium nitride coating on the fork tubes, and carbon fiber muffler 'sleeves' yes, too bad about the Ohlins. maybe I'll find some

what's this crazy talk??

Gorgeous bike leroy. The Ti set makes it right. That's how the LM/Sport should look, And sound. Harpers has 1 less kit because of me. Welcome and enjoy.

That seems a reasonable amount of maintenance. I'll be happy to say that at 56k miles. 3 starters seems a bit harsh, but I'll take that over other problems. The rear wheel bearings have been addressed here, as I'm sure you are aware. I'm inclined to just check mine every tire change and replace. I don't know what to make of the rotors. You probably got the shift pawl/spring upgrade as a recall at Moto Guareschi. Now, the clutch..... that is exciting, and encouraging. If you do change it out, do let us know the condition of the disc and flywheel. Curious minds, you know! my paint started bubbling at 1000 mi. and finished by 3000. broken dash mount. some crusty dash bits replaced speedo cable and drive broken various leaks, some fixed it's done under 12000 mi. -

"I'll keep the Tenni in Italy" ....what a cool thing to be able to say to heck with the stereotypes, if you get the beamer, just don't get a matching helmet I had a R11S and loved it. It was the Guzzi personality that spoke to me. The R11 was just too sanitary. and welcome to the colonies! -
I'm curious about the owner's manual Scud. Is it for a LeMans? I mean, does it say LeMans on the cover? My Tenni came with a Sport manual with no reference to a LM. Only pics of Sport's inside the cover. Harper's told me everything applies the same. If it is for a LM, and you want to sell it, let me know. If yes,... I will have a perfect condition Sport owner manual to sell/trade.

great advice lowryter and czackky, thanks I will check that out. I've seen him out on it at functions and such, for 4-5 years or so, always running great, no smoke. Plus he's got a bike shop and is pretty meticulous with his stuff. I'll bet it's been addressed. cola and milar, those Spada are great! one of my Guzzi books, can't remember, said they were quite rare. I recall it saying they didn't sell well, but were considered one of the best tour bikes made at the time, and one of the best Guzzi's. I'm not sure it's different enough than the LM for me, which I find is a very capable sport tourer. Except for luggage. cola - I googled 94 spada sp3 and got the ad for yours! with a couple of nice pics. thanks for the input- very helpful when one has visions of something new stirring it up

I know this is a stretch from the California style but I just encountered this, this evening. A very appealing motorcycle for some reason, and it is a "cruiser". The condition is just like this photo of another bike. Same all around. Nice patina. Not a 'barn in Indiana' patina, more like a SoCal or Nevada patina. I know the owner. Well maintained, runs great. 1973 850 Eldorado. Any thoughts? Things to look out for. Value range? Sorry I've strayed but this bike is so cool.

"Soldering is not the best solution for a wiring harness." why not Graig? I would have thought the opposite

He said he has 2 on back order. One is for the shelf and one is for "the waiting man". so mine makes 3. He also said he gets their 5 speed version fairly often, so they are at least workin on stuff. I wonder what the story is on folks getting the RAM for the 5 speed. I think you can go fast, have fun, and still baby the clutch. I think mine will last till I get it replaced.

I have done the spring fix on my other LM. Dead easy after doing one already, and doing it before it breaks and is in neutral. The boss was 16.24 mm. The new updated one was 15.17... weird, so I filed it down to 14.92 - 14.98. I rounded off the sharp edges, renewed the shift shaft seal, and finished off with 900ml of Red Line ShockProof heavy. BTW, i used Three Bond 1194, the grey, for the liquid gasket.

OK, you convinced me. I ordered a ram unit from MGCycles. He spoke to me at length re: delivery. He has no indication when he will get any. He believes RAM will eventually get around to building some, based on his many years in the moto business, and dealing with the Italians. Said it could be 2 weeks or several months. He won't charge my card till he sends mine out. So I figured why not. He did say one other person has been waiting for a few months. I take that to be you, Scud. haha lucky guy. In the meantime I will still look out for a cheap 6 speed dual plate set, just in case. Sooner or later the universe will balance. RE: stalling the Scura.... the first time I took off on the Tenni after I got her back, and had been riding the other LM for a year, I nearly shot it out from under me. I felt like a rookie but now realize and appreciate the difference in clutch action.

looks like the helmet lock might be undamaged. looks like it went over a cliff

Foto, did he change out the flywheel or worn clutch plates? 2 plate conversion?
