as well as Chuck and Scud's hard work and perseverance,....
I believe the extended bracket idea originated in the fertile shop of Lucky Phil, as well as the keen dressing of the pawl arm and connecting bits.
thank you all
got some fairly unobtainable period cans and screen. seems in good shape, low miles. good early example. I'd own all 3 colors if I could. They're getting old enough now that nice ones at a nice price are rare. If looking now, I'd take condition over color.

Welcome roktbox, How do you like the Africa Twin? There's some good deals on new '17's. I know they aren't as tech-y as the later ones, but who needs it?
all the factory tanks are painted?? the only bubbling I'v e seen personally is the Rosso Corsa graphics, a film applied over color and (I think) under clear coat.
what color will you use?
Same as stock shades and color with more depth. Just a higher quality. The old stuff is faded and thin. Some rub through and crazing. I'll change the tail a bit but not far from factory.
The white bit is a stylized number plate for race purposes, and is as important, imo, as the "chromate" fairing paint. The Tenni, as you may know, is an homage to one of MG's most successful road racers.
