  4. a lovely piece of work. I would prefer a teeeeeeeensie bit more cover to the rear, but since It doesn't rain there, you'll be fine. Do they do one for the rear tire?

  7. get better quick brother
  8. the '02 started dripping onto the xover 3 years years ago. it was a disintegrating case/frame vent tube. the '00 I just got into my life is doing the same. It's SO obviously a rotten vent tube, again, onto the xover. The '02 also leaked from the timing sensor. None of the leaks made it to the floor.
  9. well.. um.. he can't seem to stop buying motorcycles

bad girl. no ktm test ride?
  11. Dave, how are you liking the cans? I think the Agostini's on my '00 Sport are basically the same can as the Mistral, and I gotta say I like the sound they make much better than the MG Ti cans. Deep, loud enough, with no "glass pack" rasp. I think you made the right choice over the Staintune's.
  12. happy story Tinus
  13. I'm sure there are "holes" for consistant gps connection. I's happened to me a few times on my I phone maps/directions gps. Oddly enough, two times were in TN. Once when I went to pick up the Rosso, the blue dot went down the road without me, and would Not recognize my turn. Another time the blue dot went off on it's own through an open field, then came to it's senses a half mile down the road. Did the same thing on the way back. Weird. East TN. Seems legit it would mess with the speedo too
  14. I got put the Roadtec 01 front on my Ducati ST3 today, along with new brake pads. Went for quick romp. Very pleased with the handling, but as always, I'm comparing a new tire to a worn-out tire. Funny thing though. It was the first time I had put a front tire on the ST3 myself, so I stripped off all the weights, put the empty wheel on the balancer and marked the heavy spot (which was about 30 degrees away from the valve stem). BTW, this is a cast Brembo wheel, very similar to the V11's front wheel, maybe even identical. Anyway, I carefully lined up the red dot (light spot on tire) with the heavy spot on the wheel. And miraculously... it was perfectly balanced. First time I've ever installed a tire and didn't need any weights. Cool! what type of wheel balance/stuff/tools do you possess?
  15. Rear wheel bearings are prone to destruct in some bikes. I check them every time the wheel is off and they have been "notchy" every time. Evidently on some bikes, the axle bearing spacer in the wheel is a bit short. This causes pressure on the inner race of both bearings, and their demise. I hope that is causing your problem because it's an easy fix.
  16. all I saw in the list was a red '03. it looks pretty clean in the one pic. ask for some emailed photos. sometimes it takes a leap of faith.
  17. one of mine is leaking a little bit, but that's hardly newsworthy

  21. I've not done this exact job Kevin, but it looks like a tiny flat screwdriver at the end would get the clip started out.
