I have a very similar, in size and construct, to a Guzzi titanium muffler I was able weigh. A Leo Vince titanium with mid pipe is just under 5lb. I think the Guzzi Ti's are a bit lighter, but I don't have one loose. The Mistrals appear a bit smaller in diameter, so a guess would be no more than 5lb apiece? (4 at the least) For kicks I weighed an oem at 10lb, and an oem with CF decorative wrap at 9lb. Both with mount bracket and clamp. gratuitous edit: the Guzzi Ti can with mid pipe is 4lb my 50# scale is consistant, but possibly not terribly accurate, especially at low weights

I'm with you on all that. There were a few bikes I liked, (airhead included) and quite a few "parts and pieces" I thought were very cool. Given the art theme of the show, I guess what I perceived as a possible trend is what troubled me. I hope Bosozoku is not on the horizon for US. -

Looks like a good time. But, I'm afraid I hated almost every bike. So many pointless works. This "Austin" you speak of.. it is on Earth? I know I'm getting old but I wasn't expecting it all to fall apart so quickly. the enthusiasm there is strong, at least. I can appreciate that. Thanks for posting BB -

Inability to disengage clutch after twin-disc conversion

as Docc said you need to use the twin plate hub.... AND the actuating (?) rod. I think this part might be a different length. -
I’m quite happy with my ram clutch as well. Very well-made, easy to install, and feels very light at the lever. It has the added benefit maintaining some “originality” of the special edition, single plate bikes.

Rapid City SD is a nice town. If you tour the Badlands at Pine Ridge, (recommended) you can spend the evening at Rapid City and have a fresh start to the splendor if the Black Hills. Botticelli restaurant is a great Italian eatery in Rapid. Find Nemo Rd going west out of town (This will take a little map study, or asking directions, but worth it!) Check out Deadwood. Take a fast road to Spearfish and head back south on Spearfish Canyon Rd. Not to be missed! If you have time, head back south and east to 385 north of Silver City and go south, take a break at Pactola lake. Farther south gets you some of the old mining towns, Hill City and Keystone, Rushmore, Custer park, and another must see... the Crazy Horse Monument. It's hard to ride the Black Hills without some criss-crossing of roads. It's easy to spend the whole day there. Belle Fourche north and west is beautiful. Devils Tower is kinda cool if you haven't seen it. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the battle site at Little Big Horn (Greasy Grass - native reference) as you will want to partake in the battle story as told by a park Ranger, as well as tour the grounds. I got to hear it from a Native American female Ranger, who told many details from the Native side of history.. truly amazing.

^^ agree ^^ West Virginia is beautiful. Also anywhere in east Tennessee and all of North Carolina. There might be an interesting road in Kansas, but I don't know where it is. Interstate 70 from Kansas City to Denver Colorado is 600 miles of straight and flat, prairie grass, wheat, and wind generators.

There are several posts around the forum regarding addressing this issue. Some of which are, (my own experience) completely empty the tank when in storage and over time, the "swell" will largely reverse. And... using a wood block as a pry bar (someone had photos up of this?) and as Scud mentions, various fiddling with mounting components. Ex: the rear mount nut re-positioned can give a tiny bit of extra room. Have a look at the front mounts to see what you can do there too. Every little bit helps. I personally don't have a real problem with tank stretch anymore.
