I like it

sometimes you have to be the one to do it first. A failed attempt doesn't sound too expensive. A stock V11 crossover can be had cheap I'll bet. Make that work and the rest will be easy.
-
I copied from the CL ad. Probly lo-rez enough to paste here. Just a feeling but.... I think this style is in for a new appreciation.. and lovely head guards btw
-
is that a previous inside patch? And I hope you find something. I need a kit
-
"earth stick"? that would be dirt docc looks like a good thing. what about the compressor? co2?
-
That should be an easy sale. Very nice. Many photo's if not too large, can just be copy-pasted into the post. looks like this one worked...

I host all my images on ImgZeit. Especially images that viewers can make large and see excellent detail. https://imgzeit.com/tour me too. imgzeit is cheap, no frills, and happy to serve... just like yer guzzi couple of guys doing a leg of the TAT, visited us at '17 Spine Raid

A member here started a project like this. I think, last year he gave up or lost interest. The stuff was for sale awhile back. I'll look for a photo. I know I had some, I liked it.

Ha! when I pulled the motor last year to change the clutch, one of those bolts was missing! Loosened and fell out some months before . Scud sent me another and I loctited it and honked down on the wrench BTW, it did not seem to affect motor alignment.

Great ride and video Scud. Looks like the 701 gets closer than anything to that illusive dual sport sweet spot. When the aftermarket seats are available, even closer. DR's are plentiful, cheap and dependable, with a huge aftermarket resource. They don't compare to the Husky or KTM on about any level, but are a great bike. I will probably always have one.

amstaf welcome. this is a great place to visit to sort out all things (well, most things) V11 Sport/LM. Good to see the ambivalence re selling. A good friend once told me, on considering a sale, "I only make my decision to sell or not sell immediately after a good ride." I stole that from him and added it to my own general decision philosophy "if it's not 'definitely yes', then it's 'definitely no'". Good luck with the sale.

so a human doesn't "see" that strobe the whole time following you? I thought it strobed on braking.
-
yes, both 180. Same front and rear. The RC has new Avon Storm ST's. The Tenni has Bridgestone, new rear, and a worn OUT front. I have a new Angel waiting to go on, so that will even things up a bit.

brrrr... short brisk ride to the nearby countryside, about 40mi. Not a proper ride, but enough to scream in my helmet. First ride in about 14 weeks, so "sea legs" doth prevail. It all works and sounds as it should. Very eager at throttle. The Ohlins acts a lot like the Works Performance did on my R1100S, and noticeably better than the stock stuff on the '02. Makes the bike feel lighter, happier. Definitely turns easier. Granted, I'm going to need some better weather, and more saddle time on the RC and the Tenni, back to back, so I can compare all the differences, suspension, clutches, tune, tires.... this is gonna be fun! I'm with you on the ghost flag, especially with the bubble issues. And thanks Chuck. Is "Peoples" the new location for Guzzi Sunday? Looks like a very cool place. I got a late start after my honeydo list.

me too, sans grumble.... Is this the bike from Berkeley CA? This is the Corsa that was for sale in our classifieds about a month ago. A forum member has had it since '06 I believe. He lives south of Knoxville. I drove down and picked her up about 3 weeks ago. I'm just getting time from work (and the cold) to go for the first ride tomorrow.

"pampered" could mean different things to dif people. Having other bikes And other Guzzis, and doing 3000 miles in 7 years, maybe means it just sat there un-abused. Being only 20 mi away would be worth $500 to me. You should go look at least. Feel the guy out for his character. A bit weird cutting out those who don't live in the northeast. I've traveled 300-1200 miles several times buying bikes. Price is about max, having not seen it.

WDVX Knoxville TN listen live https://wdvx.com/ Traveling down that way in 2000, I stumbled on this station and loved it. Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, and "Americana" artistry one after another. At the time they broadcast from a camper trailer near Clinton TN. They do have various programming, so you may catch them in seemingly never ending bluegrass. Some of which I'd call pure Irish. I've discovered many new favorite artists. If you try 'em and don't like 'em, try 'em again sometime. They have an Americana program Sat afternoons. And many live in studio local artists throughout the week.

r3datom9..." if you need me to put eyes on it for you, I am only about 20 minutes away." you know you want to... I couldn't resist (if I was 2250mi closer) Nihonto... respect to you for keeping some Vegas Scura details to yourself. That thing has been for sale for a long time. Much about it's story get's... "curiouser and curiouser" good luck with the search. thanks for posting

that's the one J, thanks. I just tested it and it's case sensitive
