  1. I recall a quote from Spine Raid '17 ... "I don't know.... I drank from the jar"
  2. Thanks BBz. Love that. What's in the "Bike Palace" next door?
  3. My bike runs a PC3 and performs very well throughout the range. Stucci Xover, MG Ti cans, and BMC intake. (stock airbox with top/snorkels removed) I'm not "swearing by it" .. I'm jus sayin
  4. 03 Sport Naked from Greg Bender site
  5. It looks like a standard sport color, except for the red rear body section. And it's not a real cafe sport. I think he means cafe racer style.
  6. apparently that will do you no good. (fubar) but welcome to the forum anyway.
  7. thanks. the last one http://www.odd-bike.com/2015/01/millepercento-moto-guzzis-filling-void.htmlis a great read
  8. That goo in scuds tranny looks like it's mixed with something. Like water from condensation. A part of life in the mid west.
  9. I'm far from disagreeing on RL heavy, but the jury is still out for my use of it. I've been in my tranny a couple of times since I started using it, and the strawberry shake always looks as one would expect. Yeah, it's thick and clingy, but nothing like scuds encounter. I'll continue with it till I see something I don't like.
  10. thanks Marty. Some really interesting bits on the red Magni bike. Someone should tell him about the Li battery. Was anyone tempted to call it Rattley Tappet?
  11. what's new from Guzzi, to Jim Dandy ...in 9 posts. Twisted
  12. "No reason a Tennista to buy one - unless you plan to get an early sport to keep her company." well, they are all tarts, after all.
  13. ok, that clears it up. I didn't realize it was a Guzzi part, since some bikes don't have them. Thought it was aftermarket. Thanks guys.
  14. All true. But for the moment, they are super-cheap and readily available from Moto International. *while supplies last* But Cory, the frame on your Rosso Corsa does not have a place to mount the bracket - so you couldn't use it without welding something onto your frame. I think the lower subframe on your bike does a far better job of holding the driveline in place than the little bracket. In short: ride it hard as-is. If you want a little extra assurance, maybe you should check that the tranny top-mount bolt is not over-torqued. Been all over the MI site and can't find the brace. Some linky help please?
  15. just doing some follow-up on this subject and am curious as to the "two versions" of our gas tank. #1 would be '99 to internal fuel pump, and #2 being internal fuel pump models? So an '02 tank will be correct for an '00, for example? No other differences? Someone mentioned possibly length I think?
  16. in case you hadn't seen this... http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20138
  17. Is this it? https://www.harpermoto.com/33-gasket-en.html This one has a different color arrangement than my '02 and Scuds photo. ours is the 02781101 in his link. I also have a spare with the same number. The 037811 is, I think for a later bike.
  18. Congratulations Knumb! Awesome sound.
  19. Kept an airbox, of sorts, and displayed the rear shock! nice. I don't understand the foot controls. Beautiful bike.
  20. It'll last the weekend. Mine's been on 2 years and no visible problems. Seemed fine this summer when the motor was out. Still quite firm when removed at the lower end. I'll check it proper when I do 'tank off maint' in a couple months. I'll report in with findings. I'm not that concerned with it since it's easy to replace, and the one that was "designed" for the job pretty much disintegrated. MGCycle has this one http://www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=71&products_id=1186 and it 'may' be of a better material than oem. I'd give them a call. In stock.
  21. I like those bags Vents. What are they?
