  1. Just enough green, ... and Guzzi whirrrr
  2. Docc, I hope someone got a good portrait of your bike to share. I never found it in a good spot to shoot one. That thing was looking so good, especially the dash view.
  3. Nice trip. Thanks for the report
  4. WoW, looking great Scud. That one is special. Docc, I watched the Italian vid. I understood him say "naked" and "monster" in English. Didn't really need any translation for the ad.
  5. and ok, I did take a few of #121. There is also one of Bill's VStrom, but my bike got in the way again I'm afraid... I had a great time. You guys are the best. Every time I do a trip I say I'm going to take more pictures, and I never do. Havin' too much fun, I suppose. We need more of this life
  6. On day one Bill and I went to the 'Wheels through time' museum. Mostly HD's and had to ride thru mostly HD's but it's worth it to see this guy's place. Too many bikes too little time. This one got my vote as favorite .. this is Chuck's Aero from this summer, at a vintage meet... 'cause.. he was with us in spirit... no? these two were riding the TAT and stopped in for the night.
  7. here's some real pretty bikes..
  8. Send your pics to Dave or me (I'm Dave too!) We'll post anything you have
  9. ^^^^ keep us posted ^^^^
  10. I had the same thought Dave. He's a master!
  11. Dang... good thing it's so far away from me
  12. missed you guys!
  13. we're here. the colors are flying. weather is fantastic. we're headed to 'wheels thru time' tomorrow. see you soon
  14. Whats the difference in the ECU , does anyone have specs ... availability, something compatible? The ecu is what comes with the Guzzi accessory Ti kit,... cans and ecu. Don't forget the Uh Leans suspension.
  15. The GB doesn't do it for me, tho it's certainly rare. The Coppa is tarted up just the way all the V11 should be. I could see me coughing up 7500. at most. He might get 12 from a "collector". The Vincent is the sweetheart of that rodeo. And outa my league. Thanks for the pics!
  16. lilapsophobia .... hurricanes zymocenosilicaphobia.... empty beer glass I couldn't find anything regarding fear of broken motorcycle
  17. looks like we can slip in a SSR between hurricanes. Hunker down Docc.
  18. "seems to be getting fuel" that's where I'd start. squirt something into the intake and see what happens. the smallest amount of starting fluid should fire it. If not then timing would be my next look
  19. this is awesome CT. I'm electricity challenged, so I will be following developments on this with interest!
  20. Usually people unfamiliar with Guzzi's, let alone the spine frames, ask "what sort of bike is that? I use the phrase 'Gentleman's sport bike' often to convey a brief description of the riding style it offers. "Sport bike" alone, infers a replica racer, laden with technical tricks and horsepower, ridden by the young and invincible at frightening speeds. Add 'gentleman' to the description and folks tend to nod with approval. "I enjoy spirited riding but have reached a state of maturity which no longer requires the testing of limits." They can see fairly quickly I'm no gentleman.
  21. I like this. You care for it. You 'play' it, and it makes beautiful music. But, you have to keep practicing.
  22. and GB is for Great Britain so.... a place and event in one name!
  23. Hail Steadman!
