  2. If you can't sort out H.E.R.'s battery go for a motobatt. Motobatts are glass plate gel technology, do not discharge as quickly as lead plate acid batteries and offer much increased engine cranking to start. I've changed to mb's with both my stelvio and 1100c sport, the sport is a single battery replacement for the two battery original equipment and lays on its side. These are really excellent products, have a look on fleabay for the best price.
  3. Trikes, all the disadvantages of a bike with - all the disadvantages of a car........................
  4. There is a daytona over here that keeps appearing in different forums and other media as one of 200 something special blah blah blah the bloke is looking for £10,000. There have been no takers and I don't think there will be. If it's chump change to you buy it, don't however look for a return or view it as an investment. As savagehenry says and I have often thought myself Centaros are disappearing fast as a lot of people think they're plug ugly and tear out the lump for other things junking the rest. A lot cheaper and really could be an investment in time.
  5. See above x 2. If you take the wheels off yourself you can check pads, bearings and so on and know that it has all been put back together correctly. You can also get the price of the tyre/tyres down as there is no labour to pay. If you are worried about doing the job take pictures, list the parts and the order they came off. Just take your time, even if it takes you a while you'll have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and know it's been done properly.

    1100 cross over

Looking for a 1100 cross over pipe, stucchi or mistral. UK based Thx Ray Picked one up on ebay don't recognise it but it fits and its stainless steel
  7. Excellent (and true). I just bought a 1100 sport and the seller was very reticent to pull in the clutch, makes a bit of a noise he said, I said if it doesn't there's something very wrong.
  8. I've got a 2009 (with aux tank) and use it for 2 up touring, have finally settled on Bridgestone BT23's - not much use in the dirt but the handling on the road is fantastic and they don't wear square like the scorpions.
