  2. All back in one peice and ready to ride this weekend. Dave
  3. Thanks Docc, I'll ck that FAQ out. I was wondering if the air box needed some tender care. you know its got Mistrals, Stucchi cross over, PC3, seems like more air would be a given. Dave
  4. Yea guys, I was just bein' a big puss but dont ya just hate pullin' your "new" bike apart? Hell I've only had it 2 weeks! Dave
  5. I like Tenni too...caution...ck all the front cover bolts! Dont be surprised if half of them are loose. Dave
  6. Joe I've been following your thread on W/G with interest. I'm just not wanting to tear the whole front of the bike down to do this repair. But it looks as though I'll at least have to pull the tank and loosen the front sub-frame to gain enough access to get the cover out. I really dont want to pull the fairing. Dave
  7. Yea Docc, that piece of gasket was sticking out of the cover seam right behind that mounting bolt...Really bummed me out Dave
  8. I thought it would be possible....I found that some of the cover bolts were loose...well at least not as tight as the others. Dave
  9. GOOD GRIEF! There was not one drop of oil on my garage floor this morning, ride to work and somebody call B.P., there's oil everywhere. Yep thats a piece of cover gasket. I happen to have one in my stash-o-stuff, so I'm in the process of taking her apart. Now my question is, can I fish the cover out without pulling the motor clear out?
  10. Ok, I know it's a recent acquisition, but I love her, 02 in "Champagne". Was a California bike, now she resides in South West Colorado. Dave
  11. Thanks Docc I just recently purchased the V11. I did a "fly and ride", picked it up from Les in Oakland, and rode it home to Colorado. The G5 is my daily ride. I built her last year with many custom pieces. Shes a shear joy to ride but not for the long haul.
  12. Me and my babies, an '81 G5 Cafe, and an '02 V11. Dave
