  1. Damn that’s niche! .... but these crazy days..
  2. Yessir. On the cusp of 108,000 miles. I still actually can't figure out where to make that cut (?) I guess it's out of warranty? They came with a warranty?
  3. Timing gasket leak, poss weeping from the crank sensor hole, and poss one other as yet undiagnosed.... Parked up she puts a ‘coin’ of black down now, the dirty girl.
  4. Are you sure you’re on the right forum?
  5. Ok ok ok, so who here is running a v11, regularly likes, that exhibits an oil leak? I am.

    Jealousy

god damn it’s a design classic i say! Fatted with luggáge, dumped in a brown, brown location, yet un miss takable. Yum
  7. Im off up to windermere next week for a hol- in a lovely imaginary world they’d be tearing up coniston while i’m there... oh well Hope they get a good do on bute- sounds like a hell of a lot of work has gone into the build.
  8. The Man from Delmonte: He say “....Race!”
  9. I’d guess brake drag too- i melted the anodising off my oe rear disc at the scotch guzzi rally t’other year!
  10. Can be a pig to remove that bearing... still makes me shudder when i see a cold chisel..
  11. If i remember, she leans to the right.
  12. Ace, love those panniers & paintjob!
  13. Seems like you could swing it either way- there’s guys running pods on here and also plenty of info on stock set-up so happy days! Hope you get it sorted, mine’s a later model with internal fuely bits but i wonder if the air-boxes are the same?? There’s a few runs of cables/pipeses over the spine, all of which could foul the box...
  14. Buy it, buy it, buy it!
  15. Those centauros.... damn. They ugly- is it just in pictures? Or are they like that in person...? A fine v11 now. That’s some elegant design work. Curvy in alll the right places.. mmmm
  16. Hmm, what about a large washer against the shift-arm?

    Silencers

Hello hello, due to blind taxi drivers i have a rhs Mivv silencer and a lhs Mistral low titanium silencer in my garage that either need new partners or selling on to someone who can pair em up. Both in good condition. Anyone have the opposites?

  18. Hey man, how did you get on?
  19. Holy tits! I would not mess with that young lassie. Reckon I might order a GB ‘guard. To be honest, I’d love if it extended rearwards much further- I hate wiping down the lights and wasp-tail etc after a ride. Moan moan moany moan..... And yes, if they’re 230 good english pounds to the uk, 300 yankee units to the us sounds about right.
  20. What about a second hand v11 motor? They crop up every now and then
  21. The bracket shouldn’t break- it’s a fairly hefty chunk o metal. The sump flange however....
  22. Every time i remove the rear wheel i look at (and clean) that swinging arm I think “weird!” but then “Kinda pretty, shame it’s covered up”
  23. I’d like one too- did you get sorted? The gb ones are £230 delivered to the uk.
  24. I refitted my crash damaged mivvs t’other week, just for a quick ride likes, just to remember how they sound... Ho. Ly. Crap. So so loud. So deep and raspy and gorgeous... So unsociable... So small ear-bones-damaging... Hard and angry on the acceleration- deep, hollow poppling reverb on the overrun. Beautiful. But bad. Naughty bad. Gave me a sore face from grinnin like a loon
