  1. christ… i just got a flashback of me pushing her up a scaffold board into the back of my van…
  2. haha! i nearly dropped a lung pushing mine about 50 yards up a slight incline. good job they rarely break down 😀
  3. Black + Gold though… it’s a classic combo!
  4. I’ve been wondering why the front end felt awkward in the corners for a month or so- adjusting the suspension didn’t seem to help a great deal. Turns out the front wheel bearings have a bit of play in them so changing them is today’s job. That along with tyre pressures I think is crucial.
  5. indeed. everything that was originally plastic on my monza is now a fine, black sandy substance. curse ye father time!!
  6. last time i fell off i was wearing a pair of Bull-It covec sr6 jeans, which held up perfectly. They’re not expensive either. I wasn’t going very fast though, maybe hit the road at about 35-40mph, but couldn’t fault them- normal denim would’ve left me with holes in my knees and hip i reckon. Sadly the bike was fooked 🙁
  7. one of the ones i listen to after a damn hard days work. cos it reminds me of me dad.
  8. you can ‘’carefully’ chew it out with a small cold chisel.
  9. Oof! Very nice! HB fella!
  10. I might be interested if there’d be a consignment going to the uk? Gloss black ideally.
  11. I’ve not had a problem since installing a Roy Relay. Anyone else still having starter issues?
  12. i love laurel and hardy, a lot of it is still funny today
  13. Took mine off, not missed it so far…
  14. Hi Phil, sorry man unfortunately I can’t be much help there, the previous owner had them fitted quite a few years ago- I’m not even sure about how the adjustments work on them! I was going to contact Maxton to see whether they have info that’d be useful for me. Mine could be a bit tired by now, i don’t know, but i’m much lighter that the po so perhaps not an issue? Have to say, with all the various bits of suspension i’ve tried over the years on the v11, the best return for me has been making sure the tyre pressures were bob on!
  15. if you do buy them, make sure you specify spring weight for your needs. And also that you’ll receive the correct thread pitch for the caps- the first set i got had a fine pitch and it took me a while to realise what was preventing them fitting on!
  16. i had a set in my old v11, they were very good. The current bike has maxton internals so i sold the andreanis cheap to denis.
  17. look ace in green… bellypans can get in the bin though…
