  1. last time i fell off i was wearing a pair of Bull-It covec sr6 jeans, which held up perfectly. They’re not expensive either. I wasn’t going very fast though, maybe hit the road at about 35-40mph, but couldn’t fault them- normal denim would’ve left me with holes in my knees and hip i reckon. Sadly the bike was fooked 🙁
  2. one of the ones i listen to after a damn hard days work. cos it reminds me of me dad.
  3. you can ‘’carefully’ chew it out with a small cold chisel.
  4. Oof! Very nice! HB fella!
  5. I might be interested if there’d be a consignment going to the uk? Gloss black ideally.
  6. I’ve not had a problem since installing a Roy Relay. Anyone else still having starter issues?
  7. i love laurel and hardy, a lot of it is still funny today
  8. Took mine off, not missed it so far…
  9. Hi Phil, sorry man unfortunately I can’t be much help there, the previous owner had them fitted quite a few years ago- I’m not even sure about how the adjustments work on them! I was going to contact Maxton to see whether they have info that’d be useful for me. Mine could be a bit tired by now, i don’t know, but i’m much lighter that the po so perhaps not an issue? Have to say, with all the various bits of suspension i’ve tried over the years on the v11, the best return for me has been making sure the tyre pressures were bob on!
  10. if you do buy them, make sure you specify spring weight for your needs. And also that you’ll receive the correct thread pitch for the caps- the first set i got had a fine pitch and it took me a while to realise what was preventing them fitting on!
  11. i had a set in my old v11, they were very good. The current bike has maxton internals so i sold the andreanis cheap to denis.
  12. look ace in green… bellypans can get in the bin though…
  13. damn, now i’m hungry…
  14. might need a handydandy ‘triangle protection system’ to keep crud off it
  15. could it be fitted t’other way round..?
  16. yep. It rides similar to a v11, without the mad grunt obviously, but still shifts Very Nicely. Very light, very low slung, just lovely really
  17. oh gawd yeah- one further point is that my ace h/c fabbo relay is sited 1 inch from the + terminal… i reckon i’ll live with it a while yet, but them terminal blocks are the way forward for sure. My monza has 1 wire to the neg, and 2 wires to the pos hahaa!
  18. Just installed a KiwiRoy auxiliary-high-current-fabadoo relay! Works a dream, thanks Roy. Starting troubles be gone damn you! One particularly nice touch was that wee unused bracket sited next to the ecu proved to be a perfect place to attach the relay- it just, only just has enough clearance for the seat base. Without this, I couldn’t see an alternative handy place- there’s not a deal of room under there. One particularly irritating point is having 4000 wires hooked up to the battery.
