  1. I did not no- but i will this weekend, thanks docc. One other thing i didn’t mention earlier was that occasionally the bike exhibits the ‘click, no start’ issue too. So i’ll be looking into sorting a go-winkie out i suppose.
  2. Hi fellas, I’m just struggling to identify a starting issue, hoping you can shed light on it. On the face of it the starter is very sluggish to turn. I had it off the bike and it did seem to function fine, so i refitted it, cleaned the connections, fitted a new pc545, and re-crimped all relays at the base (as there were a few bad connections and some were being pushed back out of the blocks). The starter solenoid flicks fine but is extremely laboured on spinning. It got very hot quite quickly too. The PO had bypassed the safety circuit by cutting and tying the white wires together. Am I looking at a problem with the ignition switch? Or could the starter be on it’s way out? Appreciate any pointers!
  3. Gutsibits have new ones.
  4. if you google ballabio or cafe sport you’ll see it- mine’s in the grey colour.
  5. No probs, got to work today but will have a rummage later.
  6. Hi Brian, I have a ballabio fairing if that meets your needs? Got the mount for it too- all in excellent condition.
  7. Hi Phillip, I might have the handlebars in the back of my garage, there should also be the risers but iirc one of them has a helicoil
  8. to add: there is a straight spacer on the left though
  9. I just replaced my discs t’other day, on mine l’ve a ‘flanged’ spacer on the rhs but not on the left… does this mean i’m missing one?
  10. best way to acquire spare nuts + bolts + doodads you didn’t know you had!
  11. It really is a pain as that part of the rev range is the ‘cruising’ section. And also around-town-manoeuvring. Forgive me if this is being thick, but is this all tied to the tps base setting? I’m wondering if I got around the issue a few years back by setting the tps base setting a bit lower, or higher, than 157mv
  12. Worth a bash though. I’m wondering what the hiccup or cough or spit is? Like what’s happening? It kind of feels like a pulse back thru the intake… Is it an intake shockwave, or some unburnt fuel popping into the exhaust? My current V11 has it around the 2750 mark; I recall getting my old bike to occasionally run very buttery without any pops whatsoever… buggered it i can remember how i dialled it out though!
  13. If you’re suspension is smooth and compliant… you’re riding a different bike 😀
  14. Mine broke too. I used a stainless 60mm cap-head screw for a couple years 🙂
  15. there were 5 on sale on ebay quite recently.
  16. Could the TPS have been knocked out of whack??
  17. Yes i too thought the early bikes had slightly narrower forks- i’ve already put off one chap who asked on faceache whether they’d fit his early model.

  23. That sir, is a question! 02 is right around the bitsa years. Do you have the 54mm forks?
