Guess who forgot to put his clock back and turned up for work this morning an hour early -
I had one of the wires come adrift inside my ignition switch. Was an intermittent fault which got worse with the more steering lock applied as it worked itself loose and then permanent. Unless you ride a bit at night you wouldn't necessarily see this one develop. The fix was a simple solder connection/jump across to the other feed. Carl has good colour schematics on his site which might help get an over picture on what is going on Just reread it - mine was the other way around I had Head and tail light and lost brake , indicators and instrument back lights. Yours could be the other wire or I'd guess fuse etc but I've not checked the schematics

If it's a road or rail cutting you've got to rotate the plans through 90 degrees But guessing pipe line? -
It could have been worse I was happy to borrow his gear linkage this summer, I'm not sure I would have wanted the saddle EDIT That's better

= Just as much sex for considerably less money, as being married with kids Perhaps if I didn't keep going off for trips with my mistress (V11 Lemans) -
Still there on his site, perhaps he's just rejiged the layout http://www.obairlann.net/~reaper/motorcycle/ninja/seat/ and also his Lemans seat http://www.obairlann.net/~reaper/motorcycl...ews/richs-seat/

That's why it was doubly funny and deserved the special roflmao smiley. Not sure where I stole it from, if I see one I particularly like - right click to save it to my machine and then put into my photobucket account then treat like a picture -
The factory images in Gallery show a black tank pad. A check through Google images only through up one picture with a silver tank pad, number 169 for sale. The Tenni that I've seen in the flesh have had tank bags on, inc a nice silver Baglux cover. Did yours come from the factory that way? or are you a second owner? It wouldn't surprise me if they did fit both as standard, at V11 meet at Dodford in 2004 we saw that BFG, John O'Sulivan and Baldini Scuras had two different style mirrors fitted as standard.

Why get it from another forum when you could have gotten it from http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...ic=4855&hl= -
These are my thoughts - Won't the pistons self centre the pads. I'd suspect a build up of brake dust preventing the piston retuning properly. causing the excessive wear on the side that's dragging. I can't see the caliper to see if centred on the disc due to the width of the tyre. There is a "groan" caused by this dirt build up noticeable when pushed backwards. Could it just be a build up of brake dust? My pads used to stick due to the pedal pivot seizing up, there are no return springs, just hydraulic pressure.

inner pane that attatches to the normal visor by pins into two little holes in the normal visor - gives you double glazing on part of the visor http://www.pinlock.com/

I know what you mean, and we're not alone. I'm equal distance from Haywards of Cambridge having experienced mixed service from our supplying dealer so I last used Haywards when there was something that appeared it was beyond me. They will be supplying my next Guzzi (unfortunately it might not be for a long while), might have to pay a little more for it but at least they seem to be interested in customer service. I know Todd and others will be able to say "told you so" in respect of the pile them high dealerships

The worse thing is the build up of road grime when its not wet enough to wash or adequately lubricate it as you use the back of your finger to wipe the visor clear. It just scratches it to buggery and you still can't see anything. I did see a readers tip in an old magazine of a tennis ball with its top cut off ala boiled egg and bolted to bike used to contain a damp piece of a chamois leather

Speedy recovery. It sounds more along the lines of the broken spring scenario, than the trapped cable if its taken it self wide open and not just a case of the throttle not returning. I did have a sticky throttle, lubed the cable and the twist grip.

Times motoring article Indicates that more to him than meets the eye, but goes on about the Guzzi - But there is one thing that he hasn’t been able to resist splashing out on: a motorbike. “It’s seriously big and I am a small person,” he says of his 1100cc Moto Guzzi V11 Sport. “It’s not the fastest — it’s got a top speed of around 145mph — but it can induce a little nervousness. Driving a bike you have got to be incredibly aware of what’s going on around you because you are basically invisible to other people.” I have heard him refered to as "lip syncing tosser" but I'll not be critical of anyones singing as I was banned for being so bad at school

I've added my mileage up and it's 5685 miles and 13 days (allows for 2 x very short trips) If you had caught the right ferry on the way to Spean Bridge and met up with me at Stranraer and come out with me on the Saturday as well you would have done 12 landmarks scoring 395 points would have qualified for a Bronze award and last year would have been the 107th highest posted score How are you doing only a fortnight left? -
I make it only 150km (100miles) from the Old Timer to Mudau. Or is it the route Jaap took you I don't know if I'll go yet. Last year I had consecutive weekends away Ireland (5 days Thur-Mon) and Germany (3 days Fri-Sun) I perhaps was a bit much domesticly coupled with Scotland (5 days) only three weeks previously. If I went I'd want to make it a 5 day weekend, perhaps if Jaap's offer from last year is still open Varsseveld would make a good staging post. Perhaps I could help with the map reading.( I failed my RAF Navigator training ) But the extra days wouldn't go down so well at home Before I commit myself I need to find out the dates for Ireland and if there will be a Highland Fling 3 - Chris?

Gallery picture 2002 model long frame but chin pad tank (an extra inch after the headstock compared to earlier models(i could be wrong) ) Matt black tank, bikini fairing; front half mudguard and seat cowl Grey seat; side covers and rear half mudguard But the important parts - Ohlins suspension and a single plate clutch and lightened flywheel. The fly wheel allows a quicker spin up of the engine but has proved problematic. There have been failures with cracks coming out of the mounting bolth holes. Some have come apart and taken the engine case with them. Despite two earlier models the Rosso Mandelo and Tenni also having single plate clutches, I'm not sure if they have the lightened flywheel - but they've not reported failures. [Darth Vader]Welcome to the Dark Side[/Darth Vader] Similar to the Cafe Sport bar single plate clutch/flywheel and type of mounting for the fairing. The Scura was suposed to be limited edition of 600 though there are more. All V11 are limited editiond - just the nature of the beast
