It's some sort of American game, rather like their bigger rounders version. That way they can have a world series and still win. They learnt this from the English who introduced Cricket and Rugby (I'm not sure about football as has so many roots) around the Empire. And then go onto teach good sportsmanship by then playing for the ethos of the game and not bothering about winning. Occasionally a mistake happens and we end up winning but then go on and play really badly so not to make the same mistake again. The secret is to pretend to want to win. I have Canons and A1 and AE-1Program and a whole bunch of lenses. I never moved on to the auto focus lenses but I haven't used them in years not since we got digital cameras. I find these more than adequate for the point and shoot that I tend to do these days. I tried "solid" tyres on my ATB and because I'm a fat git the rolling resistance was incredible. Like riding on very soft tyres. I'm not sure they would have been much better had I been svelte. Side by side on a down hill stretch I had to pedal to keep up with a coasting friend. I went back to normal tyres but use a Kevlar barrier between tube and tyre.
