Guest dkgross Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 my oil was quite low I topped it off, and ran the poop out of it All is fine..wel..except the whole rear brake thing...
twhitaker Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 A metric hex nut for an M18 screw is the right size for the oil filter access cover. I just hold the nut with a crescent wrench. I change my filter over to a Mobil 1 M1-102 element because Auto Zone has the socket wrench to fit it. Guzzi has a sexy combination tool for both purposes but it's kind of pricey. I made the conversion so I could do the oil change anywhere.
al_roethlisberger Posted July 14, 2003 Posted July 14, 2003 Had the same thing last night heading out for a ride in the mountains... but just added a little oil, and all was well. No more light. It was definitely low. al
