After lots of seeking, I finally scored a V11 LeMans fairing from RacerX to turn my Billy Bob into a LeMans Coppa Italia. I hope VASean is currently too soused to get bummed that I'm rolling on this project, too.

Now I need to find a painter who can do a dead-nuts color match on the three colors in the Coppa Italia paint scheme and can lay out and apply the proper pattern and then make it look OEM.

Enzo has recommended some guy named Wong. Other friends have recommended still other painters, but no two have mentioned the same guy. It's gonna be tough deciding to whom I should trust this project. Do any of you have a recommendation to a Seattle-area painter?

That is going to be soooo freaking awesome, What you describe would have been my ideal guzzi, I hate you. When I got my bike I wasn't able to score a lemans for my budget anywhere in the country I mean they just came out, then latter I saw the Coppa and fell in love but I already had my moderatly modified Guzzi and I'm sure after I see what you've done this will really make my bike look like chop seuy.

but give us lots of pics and maybe let me have first dibs if you sell it

Good on ya, Greg.

Actually, I am trying to score a fairing from Todd as well - I hope you didn't get the one I was negotiating with him for!

PS: If you get the paint thing figured out, and it comes out to your satisfaction, let me know because I'll likely send my fairing to the same guys!

This has to be the coolest "phantom" project ever. Years from now, people will be wondering where all these LeMans Coppa Italias came from...

That really does look great. If I owned a Le Mans in something other than champagne, I'd be making calls to painters too. Greg, good luck, hopefully I'll see the completed project on my next trip to Seattle.
