LED / Micro indicator flasher relay

Thought I'd add this brief post as I could not find any existing info on here when searching for a solution to this problem.

 

If you fit either LED, or micro indicators you may find that they won't flash with the standard flasher relay as they work to a lower wattage than standard.

 

You will therefore need to replace the flasher relay with one designed for these type of indicators.

 

I have found one with a 2 pin connector (same connectors as standard) which is a very simple replacement as you can simply swap them without any rewiring. Several others I have looked at (e.g. Motrax) would involve mucking about with wires.

 

Fitted to the bike this morning and indicators work perfectly.
