Greg Field Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I have CRG LS mirrors on my Billy Bob. Here're some photos of it from various angles. The view behind is really good, in my opinion. The shop I work at (Moto International) sells 'em if you do not have a favored local supplier.
FJR05 Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Nice set up Greg, but what kind of throttle lock are you using?
big J Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Jeeezus Greg, those levers! Do you have claws like a lobster?
Admin Jaap Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I just bought the Aprilia Tuono mirrors. Same ones are on the new 1200S. I checked them in my garage and I don't have to tug my elbows in that far anymore to see the cops chasing me... They were dirt cheap, btw. € 21,- a piece. Went for a ride today. Mirrors turned out to be very good. A little fuzzy @ 120 Kmh but plenty rearward view. And I don't have to tuck in my elbows.
JoeV11 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 I got a set of $50/pr CRG knock-offs here: http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=&...item=MRX_MBM1_G I had a friend of mine turn a 7/8" diam. groove in my stock bar end weights instead of using the expanding plug that comes with them. They have great field of vision, and are in a more natural position when in the riding crouch. The only thing is I can't figure out how to keep the weight from turning. Any suggestions? Thanks Joe
