Hey all,

I need a new dampener..

I thinking of a toby or a hyperpro.

Any feedback on these.

And any sources for getting them discounted would be great.

thanks,

Michael

Hello Michael,

My Scura came with a Ohlins. My Daytona came with a White Power. Both apparently are doing what they were designed to do. :mg:

However, back when I owned my '95 Ducati 900 SS sp, it was one whippy scooter. I mounted a Storz steering damper on it and all the head shake went away. It was a very impressive difference.

Good luck. :bier:

I got the HyperPro in red for $264 here:

It uses the stock mounting configuration. Works pretty well, but the mounting bracket has one of those floating bearings, and the stock mount on the forks has a similar floating bearing thingamajig. When you put the two together, it produces some play. Still working out the easiest way to get around that. But, it works. :D

I use a WP with gas reservoir and 32 setting points on my 1100i.

Quite good all the 2+ years I have it on .Though to some the our Guzzis don't need a steering dumper.

I like the feel I get from it and it is a must in the way I want to ride and feel the bike

I have a used spare from a Sport 1100i or V11 Sport or something out in my shed. If you're interested, PM me and we'll haggle about it.
