Guest Nogbad Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 And I wouldn't wish that on me worst enemy. . . . I can think of someone....... To change the subject, having got the V11 cleaned up and back out there I seem to have gone from contemplating selling it, to falling in love with it all over again. So, the wife was right, she told me not to get rid of it, I would only miss it. I do plan to make an ergonomic change. A lot of the arm comfort of the Buell I think comes from having the levers exactly aligned with the line of the forearm. I have noticed on the V11 the levers are higher, and I have to crook the wrist to operate clutch or brake. Tomorrow I'm going to slacken the clamps and rotate the levers down.
mike wilson Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 ....a place in Jarrow (NE England)...... Names, Nigel, names. I do plan to make an ergonomic change. I've seen some people riding with controls set nearly 90degrees from arm line. I could never get the hang of Lambrettas. Others I have found useful: Footrests under the nose of the seat. Adjust height to taste. Straight line between the centre of the left and right handlebar grips goes over/through the steering head.
