Guzzirider Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 More photos and the story in Italian here. I think it looks simple and classy without the bling of many Guzzi "specials". Guy
Tom M Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Very nice! I LOVE the spoked wheels on the V11! I think that bike needs different exhaust though. A pair of these would look great on that bike: from http://www.guzzitalia.com/index.php?option...0&Itemid=35
big J Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 What's the deal with the wheels? Cali hubs? Can anybody translate?
Paul Minnaert Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 nothing technical in the text, just talking about slow food. You know slow food in the USA?
Dan M Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Very nice bike. I like just about every modification.

helicopterjim R.I.P. Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 You know slow food in the USA? Most rednecks know slow food as a 3 legged deer. Speaking of which, anyone heard from TX lately? Todd Haven, have you heard from him?
Paul Minnaert Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 Most rednecks know slow food as a 3 legged deer. yes it looks sometimes all american man still want to be a cowboy, with gun and horse. Funny thing is that slow food is also about to eat food as it was long ago, not made in factorys. http://www.slowfoodusa.org/
dlaing Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 †hat is exactly what the V11LeMans should have been....IMHO SlowFood, with a mix of raw trimmings, organic lines, spicy seasoning, and politically correct sentiments
DeBenGuzzi Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 †hat is exactly what the V11LeMans should have been....IMHO SlowFood, with a mix of raw trimmings, organic lines, spicy seasoning, and politically correct sentiments do you ppl mean soulfood? what the heck are you talking about slowfood? I'm going to assume soul food, I mean is that what other places call BBQ?
dlaing Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 do you ppl mean soulfood? what the heck are you talking about slowfood? I'm going to assume soul food, I mean is that what other places call BBQ? I guess it all boils down to relative perspective Slow Food>>>>>>>>>Soul Food>>>>>>>>>>>>BBQ
hoytstaab Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 I guess it all boils down to relative perspective Slow Food>>>>>>>>>Soul Food>>>>>>>>>>>>BBQ slow food vs. fast food in the States is how I read it. The food "made in a factory" could apply to fast food or corporate farming....both of which are pathetic as is the average size of the American waistline anyone know the brand of those nice megaphones?
floridaguzzi Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 The claim in the text is that this is Lemans Number One. The prototype of what became the "new" V11 Lemans. A historic motorcycle they say, thus likely not going to be altered much! The slow food movement is a response to the growing trend of fast food American style which is getting widespread acceptance in modern Italy, a country that has long resisted frozen packaged foods. Slow food supports the notion of a meal eaten sitting down, prepared from fresh ingredients and enjoyed at a table, not on the go.
luhbo Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Yes, slowfood is a cultural thing. Sitting down for a rest, being together, talking together, enjoying the meal. The same happens in the kitchen. Preparing and consuming food as a social and cultural act. The goal is all but sell and swallow calories... BTW, I don't like this style. Just to sweet.
