the more I look at that stelvio the more I like it. I think I might have to get one of those, well I like it a lil but less than the BMW gs, I wish it had nicer headlights but everything else looks great. Really it'll come down to availability and dealer support, both of which don't exist here and go hand in hand. Its too bad reall as Guzzi's are truly great bikes, all'of'em.

:mg:

I just looked at the BMW GS at the dealer at 20,000USD plus the (really nice) bags. Even then it's a tall and awkward thing with rear drive woes and a stuffy dealer base.

I really want to see one of these Stelvios . . .

you know, none of'em have decent dealers around here, KTM, BMW, or Guzzi, youre almost better off to get a I don't know what, does honda make something? Well for MN anyway. I'm not really worried about dealers for anything, mostly just parts. I'd like to be able to get parts, especially on a semi-off road bike for I would use it more than semi-off the road, just ask the buell dealer that about kicked my ass when I brought back their ulysses looking like this...

except their brand new show room ulysses, wasn't the first time I've done something like that, *Cough Jeep* and won't be the last...

I'd really like a Stelvio but might end up with a used cheap ulysses for a play thing.
