antonio carroccio Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Last weekend I have done a service at my own bike. I have changed the oil in all the possible thinking places. The engine have got the Mobil 1 5W50 100% synthetic. The oilfilter will be the good old one UFI. The gear oil is a new one. Lucas 85/140. Here we go. I have opted for this oil thanx the tip of Agostini’s chef de garage. In the differential I have put the same oil as the gear, but that wasn’t a good idea, because this oil is very thick and if not warm enough it will make a lot of foam. The disadvantage of this foam is that it will go out through the pressure valve and go on the rubber. It was very scary to discover this. I have token the thick oil out and put the regular one, 75/90. Problem solved! Someone Have used this thick oil before me?
Jap In OZ Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 HI Antonio! Good to see you are busy!! Ciao Jasper PS geen ervaring met dikke olie....
