Guest jim fordham Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Just went on the auto trader site (bike section UK). To see if my scura r was still on there and know there's another one on there at a dealer. One sold 5 weeks ago in London. Know there's only meant to be 4 in the UK. Its strange they have all done similar millage and all come up the same time, So UK no.4 its time to come out.

I'm curious, what is the difference between the Scura R and the 02 Scura, besides seat colour and the gooseneck? Cheers Cat

Cheers Cat Also, Scura R has higher compression engine, balance pipe at the exhaust headers, and it looks like anodized aluminum shell on muffler, as opposed to Carbon fiber shell. I think the Ohlins is also probably better sorted out, and probably has hollow axle which saves a few grams of unsprung weight.
