Scura body paint ??

Does anyone have a paint code number for the non-gloss clearcoat used on the Scura tank etc ??

It appears that paint codes are Guzzi's best guarded secret. You might inquire at Langley VA, since my mail to Moto Guzzi customer service was answered with: "Unfortunately, we cannot provide with the information since Moto Guzzi does not provide information about paint codes".

 

BTW, I am looking for a paint code(s) for metallic red/gray combination. Just like in the avatar.

I did finally find an old post regarding the Scura black paint :

I dont know how much help this will be but Im going to consult with a paint store and see if it makes any sense to them. Again, my suspicion is that the Scura black is a base coat with a satin clear over it. I would think 2 paint codes would be in order.

Yes, the top coat is not black. It definitely is a black base, or number of blacks(?), plus a clear coat of some description.
