lemans fork springs

I have an 03 v11 Lemans. I want to purchase the Hyper Pro fork springs and ideally the rear shock spring.

Hyper Pro only lists springs for the V11 Sport from 1999 onwards. Would these fit my Lemans?

 

Mine has the upside down 43mm Marz forks. I thought the Sport may have had 40mm forks. The staff at Hyper Pro say they do not have any idea whether it would fit and then need the dimensions of the springs.

I suppose it would be easy enough to pull a spring and get some dimensions. It's really quite easy if you have a shop stand and floor jack.

 

There are some spring measurements in this post and thread mostly for the Marz 40 and later Ohlins 43.

 

The Ohlins spring for the 43mm Guzzi fork is 1.475" outside diameter and 9 5/8" free length. Not sure how that will compare to the Marz 43mm springs.

 

I would not consider the 40mm and 43mm springs interchangable.

I can get you a part number for some RaceTech springs that worked in my 43mm Marzes. Any shop that buys through Parts Unlimited could then get you springs in whatever weight you desire. These are straight-rate springs.
