18000 miles, bought it with 3800. Only 1 leaky fork seal and replaced the relays, no other problems. Well I've had some, but I caused them. :homer:

Ok, here goes

120 miles when I bought it

Speedo says 10,200 miles

But my odometer did not work for another 6000 miles

No long trips, this is hundreds of short rides

never stranded

71.000km or 44.000 Miles.

One TPS (now HD), one set of wheel bearings (too much cleaning), Oil Pressure Switch, Tach. That's it.

Tranny recall ignored, Siemens relais and original gearbox springs.

Bought 2002, 4klms

now 54000klms

Bundaberg to Phillip Island x2

Bundaberg, Brisbane to Darwin and back

and the rest just riding

no major probs. Even geting used to the peeling crinkled black paint ('cause they won't do anything in Australia).

Front brake pads

rear bearings (that seems popular) mine were Polish would you believe it

no relays, tranny etc (touch wood)

A mere 2500 mi gap between the two leaders so far with two bikes right around halfway to a century. Don't let the long-record holders dissuade you - even if you can't match those numbers - how many miles are on your V11?

With "Supernature" my V11Sport bought in nov 2001, I have done 56K and more Km which is around 37K miles.

Two months ago, I added "Human Nature to the stable:

a Breva 850, slightly modified, already displaying more than 5k miles.

Looks like its about time someone added to this post:-

Picked up my 01 model in Feb 08 with 37000 kms now on 41000 kms riding daily, this site has helped with the issues I've had mainly with the electrical system (typical italian letdown).

Melting fuses - installed new fuse holder for the 30amp, now starting to pop the tail and dash light (will be pulling apart the guages to check bulb holder after reading the post on that topic}

Clutch has started to slip at 160 kph only under loading it up so a clutch kit is on order.

Even so I have a shit eating grin every time I ride!!! and she has so far always got me home.

A mate has a green 00 anniversary model he's had from new and he's done over 180 000 kms of extremely hard riding and had all the common faults posted rear wheel bearings, transmission,

Relays , sidestand switch, Oil cooler bracket and is presently rebuilding after lacking oil flow

after hard accelleration (have told him about the roper plate}.

If a bike can cope with what he's put it through over that mileage it ought to last me fine, and the soul feel of riding the v11 is very much like my 1988 MkV Le Mans.

No one came up to me and said "Awsome bike Westy" in 20 years of riding my K100 BMW,

The v11 turns heads, sounds sweet, Draws so many wicked comments and feels so much more like

riding a real bike that I dont regret selling the Beemer, (No intention of selling the MkV either}

The thrill of riding Guzzi's is the only thing that can offset the rising fuel prices at over $2 a litre here I'm playing with the idea of introducing Hydrogen to the equation next,(watchout for Men in Black!}

AAAAAARRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEBBBBBBBAAAAA!!!!
