raz Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Me likey. Very nice job.One thing to do: shorten those ignition cables a bit, tight around the heads. I agree, route them above the inlet tubes. But to each his own of course. Anyway it's wonderful and very inspiring. My personal dream is to mate my Sporti engine with a Convert gearbox and frame and make it a wierd hot rod café racer
WitchCityBallabio Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Yeah, I did move those up above the intakes and tightened them up. The guy that wired the bike put them there. Looked bad that way.
Guzzirider Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 John is ready to build my tank and cycle parts! Going up there tomorrow with my rolling chassis in a van!
Guzzirider Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Ooooh the tank, seat and bodywork are nearly finished! Am going back up next weekend to collect her- then I can start sorting all the other jobs like wheels, forks, cables, hoses and electrics. Should get her on the road for April!
Guzzirider Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 A few dark teasers- I won't take any proper pics until she is finished= the work John at the Tank Shop has done is excellent- the Imola Seat looks good too. So many jobs to get her finished now. P.S. She is very very shiny!

grossohc Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Looks great Guy , Is that all the padding you are putting on the seat, or is it still to be done. Gary
Guzzirider Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 No padding yet Gary-its just a bare seat unit- I will get a local guy to make it nice and comfy!
fotoguzzi Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 well it's not really cafe or muscle but I wanted to show my conversion. I started with a crashed EV motor, Convert running gear and SP body. had to use a cam and front cover from a vert to run the ATF pump. made the mags tubeless, modified the EV seat and luggage, modded the flywheel for the crank sensor but it was tricky, see.
macguzzi Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Found this Guy don't know if you had seen it
Guzzirider Posted January 20, 2009 Author Posted January 20, 2009 Found this Guy don't know if you had seen it Nice bike Euan! Looks like a proper racer!
fotoguzzi Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 My personal dream is to mate my Sporti engine with a Convert gearbox and frame and make it a wierd hot rod café racer I would worry the sport motor would over power the convert tranny, or running gear. but I did it with a EV motor and if I can score a v11 motor and systems I have all the convert parts to build one.
