If you could take a moment and help a friend....

 

I dont typically get involved in these things...but this young man isnt asking

for much <in fact he's not asked for a thing> but surely he should be

recognized for his contribution....

 

Nick (my friends nephew) is a pipefitter out of Detroit, MI and he is currently

working in Bagdad helping to rebuild the US Embassy....

 

Nick didnt have to do this...he VOLUNTEERED...he wanted to CONTRIBUTE

SOMETHING...he could have taken a much safer road and remained

in Detroit...but he didnt....instead hes gone to Bagdad (as joe citizen) to HELP !

 

The family sure would appreciate your help. Nick's parents have passed away.

 

In fact his Mom died just a few months ago and he came home for the funeral

and went right back to Baghdad.

 

Someone nominated him in a contest sponsored by Wolverine Clothing.

 

Nick is now in first place but the family would like to keep him in first place.

Forum members, please don't turn this into a political discussion. Regardless of anyone's position on Iraq and US and Iraq, this is not that. This is an individual's efforts to help out his friend. I think we've been through the "other" debate.
