Steve G. Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 So I just about had a cardiac when my local dealer told me what he wanted for a fuel filter [i'm in Canada remember]. And my buddy won't be down to Houston till early winter [MPH], so, tell me, is there another 'automotive' sourse for this Weber filter?? Ciao, Steve
Guest ratchethack Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 NAPA Gold 3310, Wix 33310, Purolator F67221.
dlaing Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 I use NAPA gold FIL3023 This thread has more info and part numbers that will work: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?...ic=1097&hl=
docc Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I can confirm Ratchet's Purolator and Wix numbers. These are welded filters, slightly shorter than the Weber, for the Isuzu Trooper.
Tom M Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I recently installed the NAPA gold filter mentioned above. It's both shorter than stock, requiring a slight reroute of the fuel line, and smaller in diameter than stock, requiring some shimming to fit it inside the stock clamp. I wrapped it in duct tape . Next time I'll find something closer to the stock size.
