Hey folks,

Just listed my Nero Corsa on Ebay. This is one damn fine motorcycle, but I'm needing some funds for some personal business...

Hate to see it go, but here's the listing:

Re-listed the Nero with some revisions to the auction. NO RESERVE this time:

Beautiful bike, Mike. I finally saw one of these a couple of weeks ago.

Best of luck with the sale and the business ventures.

Hey Man, Sorry to see you leave the fold, the Nero's the SH*&T, as you well know! ncmsg01.jpg.JPG

At least when your personal business pays off, you'll know what to look for, again  , and good luck....S.H.

Not leaving the fold. Still have my '96 Sport 1100 to play with...

:bike:

A garage full of Guzzis is my long-term scheme !!!

Well how do you like that ?? :huh2:

Max bid for the Nero Corsa was only $7,150... :bbblll:

Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value = $8,635... My reserve was only $7,995...

I guess I'll be keeping it for awhile...

Anyone wanna buy an FCR41/Staintune equipped Sport 1100 ???

Damn Mike-

I can't believe it hasn't sold.

Next to my Coppa, the Nero is far and away my favorite modern Guzzi.

That is an INCREDIBLY FAIR price (IMHO). Somebody is going to get an awesome bike.

Again - best of luck getting a price that makes you happy!

:bier:

PS: it might sell quicker if you throw on a pic or two with one of your lady friends posing with it!

Been watching ebay in the UK for a bit as I'm currently trying to sell my Le Mans. I have to say, the V11s don't seem to sell on there at all.

A nice Tenni auction ended this morning. Max bid was $4,869.09

My bike probably isn't going to sell. Again. That's OK. It's a helluva sport-touring mount...

I ended the auction early. I'm not liking the current Guzzi Ebay market. :bbblll:

Two hours to go and no bids with a low $7,250 opening bid. :glare:

The bike is still available and I will entertain SERIOUS offers. :food:

Otherwise, I'll be enjoying this kickass Moto Guzzi for a while longer... :bike:

Unfortunately, a lot of folks lost bikes in MN. You might get interest from someone looking to replace a bike.

If you relist anywhere, I'll give you the same advice was given me (I'm in the seller's market as well)- explicitly state that this is not a flood bike.

Good point, jrt.

And sad as it is to lose the bikes in the flood, most of the owners will be looking to replace them with a new (or new to them) Guzzi when the insurance checks come.

Mike-

I'd wait another week or so until those insurance claims start getting paid off... then those guys who've always wanted a Nero might be in a position to buy yours.

No disrespect meant to those of you who lost your bikes... I'm just giving my :2c: to a friend who is trying to sell his awesome Nero Corsa.

Thanks Sean,

The bike is still available and I welcome serious inquiries...

A few guys have been emailing me, but no one has "shown me the money", yet...

Rode it about 150 miles today. Fayetteville to Joplin, and back with my friend, Craig...

It really is a nice ride, especially at a "SPORT-touring" pace...
