huub Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 When I checked my transmission shaft (bevel) of the v11 sport, I found out that it could slide a bit on both rods. As well on the side of the transmission housing as on the side of the gearbox the shaft can move about half a centimeter over the rods. Is this a normal movement, or is it time for a new shaft? I think the shaft should only shift in the middle. I'm a right? The cross coupling on the oyher hand looks very well. Huub

The answer then was: it's normal. All agree? Huub

docc Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 As long as there is no play in the bushings for the torque connecting arm above the bevel box.
