Ghezzi Brian offer a "race" cough cough, tuning kit for V11's/1100 sport motors. Has anyone had anything to do with these, what is the end result does the motor idle like a top fuel dragster and work between the rpm of 8000 and 8250 rpm or is it still fairly flexiable. I went for a ride with a few of the boys and with 107 000kms it isn't pulling through to redline in the higher gears like it used too might be time to get serious about operating well maybe next winter.

Never heard of it and I can't seem to find much info out there. Here is an article on a different hop-up option you might want to consider.

I started a thread some time ago regarding opinions on this type of hop-up work. It precipitated quite a debate. I found the advice from board members to be very helpful and insightful. I suggest you track down that thread and give it a read.

I did not mod my bike in this fashion. I have installed the Ti cans, FBF X-pipe and air box replacement kit and have had a PCIII installed and custom mapped by Ferracci. The bike runs great. 87 peak HP and 74 peak ftlbs torque.

From 3K rpm to redline the torque curve never drops below 60.

Hope this is of some help to you. Good luck and keep us posted on whatever you wind up doing.

Its an older carbed 1100 sport its already got the carbs/exhaust thing but basically the motor is down on compression mainly because of a "sports man like manner" its used rather than strip it just to patch it up I though we might try and extract a bit more fun.

maybe first take it in pieces, and inspect what you find, before buying things. MAybe the cams ore folowers are worn, or you need a set of barrels with pistons.

Has anyone here tried the Ghezzi kit mentioned? In the past I've seen lots of engine mods but I have yet to see anyone get 100 rwhp. I'd say anything over 90 rwhp would make for a good buy if it wasnt too expensive.
