antonio carroccio Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Olá, The Valeo of the V11 is the same as in the small Fiat use to be. From the Cinquecento to the Uno. Fiat: Panda, Cinquecento, Seicento, Uno, Punto, etc. I see you live in Europe, that would be not difficult to find one.
chris a Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Hi , try HMB Guzzi in Germany...175 euro which is about as cheap as they get . Alternatively , there is another German guy who was offering a mitsubishi conversion for euro 200 which seems like a better alternative. harold.quirl@t-online.de good luck !!
nuevototem Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 Thanks people 4 your answers! I live in Barcelona so I will check the Europe dealers. I think is interesting the FIAT way... will check if I can fix mine. Best regards,
antonio carroccio Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I think is interesting the FIAT way... will check if I can fix mine It must fix. It's the same Valeo. Try second hands. A lot of Fiat have broken down
nuevototem Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 Hi to all, I have more news about this problem. 1) The Citroen ZX have the Valeo starter, you have to only change the cover and is OK. 2) I take the battery for a charge and they found that it is dead. Now I don’t know if the problem is related to: 1) The battery. 2) The starter. 3) A short circuit in the bike. 4) George Bush. 5) Something else… Best regards,

You need a voltmeter to check the voltage in the battery which should be at least 13 volts once the engine is running, If less, then your charging system is sick or dead.To be honest it doesn't sound like the starter is the problem. Has the bike been in regular use ??? Cheers
