Turpin Crock Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Pity Contepomi missed that last Penalty. Typical Leinster Player.
Frenchbob Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 RIP Les Bleus. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! RIP the coach, too.
Van Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Canada vs Wales, ...Canada did great, then.......oh well South Africa vs Samoa, as it should be Everything really going as expected save for the Argentia vs France game. Seems tha popular vote is going with the All Blacks, but did l mention that l'm cheering for the SPRINGBOKS, ...something about that green that reminds me of the Tenni Cheers Van
Van Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I like the Boks new kit ........somehow fitting ! Cheers van
Turpin Crock Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I'll go way out on a limb here. The Southern Hemisphere would appear to be doing better than the Northern.

Ahh,..........all would appear to be well with the world then !!!!! This proves that there is some PROPER order to the universe, you see, like when the "colonies" give the old team a thrashing or like when Canada gives the U.S. a solid beating in Hockey...... then, all is well ! Cheers Van
Turpin Crock Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Ireland will definitely not make it out of the pool stages. England Wales and Scotland are all in at least some doubt. What are the chances that not one of the four "Triple Crown" teams will make it?
macguzzi Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Well Scotland are in a better position with only Italy to beat, so far Italy have looked poor, knowing our luck they will pull up their game but it could come down to bonus points. Yesterday NZ did'nt play well but still managed to run 40 points. Ireland look out as they have to face Argentina who are playing some fantastic rugby. The bad news if we do qualify we get Argentina next!
Guzzirider Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 Well its been an interesting weekend- Fiji playing out of their skins and showing lots of attacking flair in beating the Welsh, and Ireland getting beaten by a strong Argentinian side. Quarter finals are as follows: Australia V England New Zealand V France South Africa V Fiji Argentina V Scotland England have slightly improved since the South Africa game, but will be huge underdogs against the Aussies who will be super confident of getting revenge for their 2003 defeat. I would not give England any hope at all if it was not for big mouthed ex-Aussie winger David Campezi who has been shooting his mouth off big time again, slagging off England- he really knows how to motivate the opposition! Best game to watch may be NZ V France. Form book says that Australia, NZ, SA and Argentina will be in the semis- but who knows what will happen Guy
g.forrest Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 all blacks... nearly australian, we share population.
Turpin Crock Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Form book says that Australia, NZ, SA and Argentina will be in the semis- but who knows what will happen Guy It will take a big shock for any of your predictions to be wrong. Two all Southern Semi Finals We have some catching up to do.
