Headlight Failure

I have a 2004 Lemans with a headlight problem.

 

The hi and low beam will not come on. The fuse is good and the bulb is good. The hi beam indicator light does not shut off when the hi/lo beam switch is cycled. Could it be a relay or bad switch?

had the same problem on my Scura on the return run from the Superbike/Supersport races in the Netherlands earlier this year. Turned out that the wiring for the headlight was scrubbing against the frame. A good layer of gaffer tape did the job.

 

Dunno whether this can do the the trick but give it a try. Otherwise, as you say, check all fuses and relays. If you run standard relays change them to Bosch dittos.

Thanks for the suggestions. It turned out to be a loose connection at the headlight bucket.
